    From the linked legal text:
    Under U.S.S.G. 2B1.1, "loss" is defined as "fair market value of the property taken, damaged, or destroyed.

    So under this definition, I could purchase a CD, make mp3's from said CD and offer them online to people. Nothing has been taken, damaged or destroyed with these actions.

    All prosecutorial woes would rest on the people who acquire the files, no?

    While you're correct in saying that mission-critical private servers don't belong on public networks, look at the circumstances:

    She's IN the power plant.
    She's running the attack on a PRIVATE IP address.

    Personally, I think she wasn't on "teh Intarweb!!1"

    The Architect scene was a mind-boggling scene. And the guy was obviously directed to talk fast and long and generally be confusing as hell (like God, haha)

    The whole 'God vs. Devil' imagery in that scene was well done. "God," the Architect/Creator in all white, sitting in His chair, watching down from "heaven." Neo (the Devil) in all black, making a choice against "God," leaving a trail of flames.

    Good stuff indeed. I'll be going back for more this weekend.

    Optiquest, a line from ViewSonic, makes hella good monitors. The Q95 has a GREAT horizontal dot pitch and just looks fabulous. The whole Comp Sci. lab at my school has these.

    Very nice.
