  1. Cool... on Audio Download: Linux Kernel to be on Radio · · Score: 1

I'm sure the people with various diabilities will love this.. Now they can start submitting patches and the like! Just will be a bit out of date, but lets see Windows have accessibility like this!

  2. Ad revenue... on AOL vs. Trillian · · Score: 1

I see alot of posts that say AOL is trying to stop other IM clients from using their servers because of their ad revenue.. Funny thing is that I use the offical AOL Linux version of AIM, and I never see ads. Ever. Maybe they don't consider the Linux crowd worthwhile to show us ads? We're ceratinly not generating any income by using their normal AOL service.

It seems that all the disclaimer writers I've seen learned to type on AOL... They start out in normal upper and lower case letters.. Then, for some reason, they switch to all caps, like they never realized it.. They go on for several paragraphs like this.. Then they suddenly realize that they were in caps mode, and turn it off... I swear that they learned to type on AOL....

My problem with this optimized version of Sims is that its a bastardization... Its not quite Windows, and its not quite Linux... Its somewhere inbetween.. Either give me a full Linux version, or allow me to play the Windows version.. No inbewteen versions please.. WHo knows if these optimization will work with future version of WineX, we have no idea what these optimizations are.. I'm sure that Transgaming will try hard to keep it working, but who knows..

I also have a collect of other old text books (English from 1890's, German from 1880's, Automotive Carberation (gotta love gravity fed carbs..) from 1900's..) and a bunch of others..

To change KDE to double click:

Bring up the Control Panel, go to Peripherals, select Mouse. In there, there's an option "Double-click to open files and folders (select icons on first click)". Choose that, Apply, Ok.

At least thats what its says in my 2.2.1 copy (texstar RPMS on Mandrake 8.0). I believe the option has been there since 2.0...
