    This information doesn't necessarily help as airlines often swap planes if the inbound is too late.

    Search results can be easily fabricated, your voice and speech patterns not so much. The evidentiary value of voice is much higher than that of typed text.

Googles goal is to amass as much data as possible for sale and their side projects (AI etc.) and in order to achieve this goal they have to replace every application every user may ever want with their own data-farming product. Making new stuff may be fun but copying existing stuff is enough to farm 99% of the user base.

    - Permanent tracking of my whereabouts that I cannot shut off or leave at home contrary to my cellphone. Enables remote control by others ( big government).

    - Dependency on an IT infrastructure ( navigation system minimum ) that is controlled by big company.

    - They are driving surveillance boxes with tons of sensors that are explicitly designed to track people both inside and outside of the car.

    - Encourages monopolism because cars that can talk to each other internally obviously have an advantage over competitor cars that cannot and there is not initivative to provide this info to competitors. There may be standards but companies may be tempted to drop them once they surpass a certain market share (see Apple).

  11. The reason why parents care so much about biological children is because

    a) It is closest to what parents themselves are, both technologically and philosophically.

    b) It creates beings of moral significance which machines don't have. If you create machines with the intent to give them moral significance, you heavily descend into Frankenstein territory and should be banned from using anything more complex than a hairdryer.
