Cars are for wimps. Get a bicycle!! I have a bicycle and a powerbook and I never drop my powerbook. Ergo if you get a bike you will not drop your powerbook!!! Made even more true by a large amount of exclamation points!!!!!!!
well that just makes the whole situation absurd then. giving money to both countries so they can develop nukes and delivery systems, oh I mean space programs. color me wrong
the difference between India and China is that China gets foreign aid. They don't do it on their own. It is strange that they bstill get foreign aid even though they have a pretty big space program. darn smart of them, i'd say.
not in the context of the state, marriage in the eyes of the state has nothing to do with the bible. ever read the constitution? 1st amendment?
I dont see any problems allowing whatever relationship consenting adults want to have. Not restricting the interactions of concenting adults will certainly not lead to no laws. laws are, or should be, for protection from other in cases where they wish to do some harm, and the illegality of concensual relations between adults has no rational basis.
Gay marriage is between two consenting adults, I see no reason, other than the bible(which cannot be used to justify laws in the US), that it shouldn't happen . On top of this I have never seen an arguement against gay marriage that didn't rely on the fallacy that we have always done it so we should keep on doing it.
If you don't know what a boot party is, you're about to see one all over Mr. McBride and SCO. Thats what this is about, everyone smells the blood, everyone.
They make the manufacturing costs back by a small margin but could never hope to make the R&D costs back. That is what they have to make back on the games.
with the way cops are treating even non-violent protesters in miami i dont know that you'd get to far. why do you think the government is researching so many new crowd control methods?
fiji hindi is what i've been told they're speaking. I had a GF that lived in fiji for a few year as a kid, she could understand, or so she claimed, the ewoks.
I just wonder when mandatory EMP shielding will be the norm on civilian devices. If we have a city full of cars with drive by wire brakes and someone sets off a fair sized EMP bomb, thats thousands if not tens of thousands car accidents in the space of about a minute. Can you say crippled infrastructure. Even natural phenomenon, IE an especially large magnetic storm could play havoc with our current technology. Combine all that with an imminently possible terrorist strike using EMP and it sure isn't a pretty picture.
I've found that very often I can't find any Good information on a given subject using the internet. Strangely enough it seems to be the less obscure subjects i have the most trouble finding info on. On the other side, I still love books. i recently bought a copy of The Prince because i couldn't stand to read the whole thing on the computer screen. Plus it's fun to go to the library. All that info tha isn't sorted by links, thats how i find my most interesting things, on the internet I always seem to end up in the same areas when i look for stuff.
Alchemy hasn't beeen "proven right". Alchemy was very often used as a code for philosophical discusions that were heretical. The quest for the Pilosopher's Stone was more the quest for a philosophical/metaphysical/spiritual gnosis.

"real open source" + "proprietary" = not real open source

I wonder if the recent case against KaZaaLite has anything to do with the embrace of KaZaa by Bollywood?
Isn't that whats going on in Iraq right now? ;)

While large scale EMP isnt really plausable right now, it definitly will be in 20 years.

More importantly count the money that the video game industry is puling in. IIRC the are already ahead of the movie industry.
