Dlink's AirExtreme G products advertise speeds up to 108 Mbps. Their literature implies that they use two wireless channels to achieve this speed.
I have their wireless card & router, but can't get the 108 speed because of some legacy b adapters in the network. The G speeds are quite nice - even though 802.11b's theoretical speed is higher than my DSL bandwidth, it's actual performance was quite dissapointing.
Russians are brilliant but a huge pain in the ass to manage. Indians are competent, hard working, and tend to be more submissive and thus easier to manage.
Anyway, great computer scientists != great software engineer.
German cars have great build quality but crappy parts. BMW, Mercedes, VW, Audi all have much worse reliability than the Japanese manufactuers. The cars however are much more fun to drive than the japanese appliances.
You bought the wrong car. The Japanese imports have terrible option packages that can't be de-bundled. Most euro cars can be special ordered and you can chose almost any option combination.
I actually did this when I was in school and I lost weight without really trying. I would wake up around 10am, go to class, be starving by 12, eat a huge sandwich & carrot cake and apple (or burrito and churro or other suitably large yet cheap meal) then I wouldn't be hungry until about 10-11pm when I would grab a coffee at the local coffe shop. It probably helped that I walked a lot to class, but overall it worked pretty well for an unplanned diet. I probably lost 25 pounds after eating very unhealthy previous semesters.
I must have missed that chapter in my econ text covering software engineering and project management. Or maybe you're just confused? This book is about why producing quality software takes lots of time and resources, not about supply and demand.
In your calculation you should also factor in hardware maintenance. If you had to run more servers for equal load with JBoss, it would cost more initially to purchase the hardware, but your monthly hosting/maintenance/support costs would be higher also.
You are likely correct about JBoss being a much cheaper solution, just make sure you factor in all the costs.
Doesn't really matter, Toronto weather sucks most of the year (too cold or too humid & hot). Just like New York and the rest of the region. I'll take the Northern California Bay Area weather anyday.
Okay, I lived 1/4 mile from El Camino in Mountain View, and stupid PacBell said I couldn't get DSL (toooo faaaar). If you can't rely on broadband in the densest area of the world's technology capital - where can you?
Yeah, but you should have been able to get AT&T cable broadband there, at least I could when i lived in Sunnyvale near El Camino. And it's much better than DSL, I never experienced any slowdown due to over subscription.
You've been into it for over a year? I got bored of DDR about 3 years ago. Obviously my obscure video game coolness quotient is way higher than yours. You better start looking for the next bizarre video game craze now so you can avoid this type of ridicule in the future.
Sure, you go shuffle the beads around your abacus while I chisel the last couple lines of my dissertation on this stone tablet. Happy with yourself Mr. Flinstone?
Add a more powerful CPU/ASIC, video out, firewire. Then you can load divx;) movie rips or DV straight from your camcorder. Ignore copyright bits and you could swap movies just by plugging one device into another. Allow an optional color LCD screen of decent size so you can watch movies on the go.
it depends on the company and your manager. I work in a fortune 500 tech company and i routinely see people taking 1 or 2 month long vacations a year. of course this may explain why this company is about to self destruct...
Linky linky

I'm sure chinese chair makers are very excited about this too.
Not sure, but the Hamster was an Asstronaut.
Street legal elise coming this year to the US with toyota engine. Many people have already put down deposits.
What's the obsession with the term USAian, you UKian?
256MB, FM tuner, recorder, expandable with SD, blah blah blah.

You're mistaken, no one wants to buy a saab. Great car, nice turbo engine, but horrible resale.
Actually they both do....if you do an ant -v you will see that it only adds the files that need to be re-compiled.

But aren't there turbo bikes that would experience a similar phenomenon when the boost kicks in?

Have you tried File...Save As Web Page? Seems to work for me. You might need a more recent version of Project though.

Then you have a portable media library.
Yo homes, don't be talking trash or V13 will bury you in oakwood.

try going into vi and in insert mode hit ^V, then backspace. It should print the control code sent by backspace. Then you can remap this in emacs.
or better yet keep using vi.
