Google will pretty much have to block Italian IPs if this is the case.
Another thought: does this mean that websites that serve amateur, user-submitted porn are subject to this law too? Will Italians only have access to these late at night?
This law is pretty much doomed.
They could be having WiFi withdrawal due to the lack of signal strength in the school, did you even consider that? There's not enough wellness packets filling up the air so the kids are getting sick.
Now, I'm not a doctor, but I play one on the internet, so this must be the case.
I also agree, and I'd like to add a recommendation to include that she records advice she would like to give the children later in life. It might be less emotionally draining for the children if it's in a written form, but more impactful if it's in some video or audio format. I know there's lots of things I wish I could learn from ancestors who passed away while I was young and I'll never have the chance now.
A designer with a technical understanding is much more useful as they are likely to understand limitations described to them by the dev team instead of just thinking they're not working hard enough.
If it's anything like Halo 3 it'd be more "I see you're trying to use the sniper rifle to take out the other snipers... I'll just chill here until you're done"
I didn't have any coffee for about 3 months, then just the other day I had a coffee and a cappuccino. I was absolutely wired for about the next 3 hours. Now, having had a coffee on a near daily basis prior I did not expect that effect what so ever.
For MMO games there is overhead. The companies need to be running their servers, constantly patching, paying their game masters and programmers. All of those operation costs are not covered under the original selling price of the game, and if it is, God forbid the company turn a profit, because profits are bad, especially in business.
And it's not like WoW was the first game to do it, hell Ultima Online's been doing it for what? 10 years now? They've had plenty of expansion packs that users had to pay for. In many cases expansion packs add a lot of content to a game, and are generally less expensive than the original game, as the engine and what not is already packed into the original game.
I absolutely agree with you on the whole locking stuff unless you pay thing though. If it's in the original game code, I shouldn't have to pay more to use it.
I for one will never pay for a demo of a game. Although many people dropped $60 for the halo 3 beta, I got crackdown because I wanted the game, not because of the Halo 3 demo, which I played twice.
That's as to say that can't already pretty much be done by tracking your credit transactions. I'm sure no one here has ever had their credit card blocked due to shopping somewhere they don't normally shop. I mean, I know that didn't happen when I bought my computer speakers two cities over.

Someone's fetish is fulfilled by this story. Am I the only one bothered by that?
Of course we're always going to have the "fucking magnets. how do they work?" crowd out there that believe scientists lie to them every day.

Wow. I suppose our Imagine Cup entry could not be more relevant right now.
O.R.B.
Of all the problems in the world... why the same three?
You want to name the "Effect" caused when a "Mass" of people all hit a website at once...? I'm stumped for a name.
Oh no! Blizzard is going to steal my credit card information and where I live and.... wait a second... they already have that... guess I'm safe
I'm pretty sure it's named after the epic poem that's been around for almost 2000 years.... which the movie is based on.
I for one welcome a world of super heroes and villains. Though this will probably hurt that Marvel MMO that's coming out and city of heroes/villains.

What's in a name? Would an Intel by any other name be cheaper than an AMD?
The goggles! They do... something quite impressive actually.
