My single video card is more expensive than your XBOX 360 combo + PS3 combo + Vii combo, plus 1 year subscription fee for each. I can turn video settings on my game to use 3 screens, 2048x1536 each, and get 100 FPS : 10ms response time. I can see you and kill you before you even notice my existence. This is not a fair comparsion.

16x PCI-E even in it's 1.0 flavor is not too slow. See majority of motherboards offers SLI/CF uses dual 8x PCI-E (Forget about the 'high-end'), which is still more than adequate to handle all graphics tasks. PCI-E 2.0 released 1 or 2 years ago doubles the bandwidth yet again. So I would say PCI-E is not as old as AGP was.
Or your iphone is more vulnerable to throw away damage, or drop in water damage, or drop in toilet damage or stolen damage or whatever damage out there. quick, hide it!
