If they pass this bill, it pretty much puts the kibosh on partygaming.com (who floated in London in 2005) and the like. From this article, 87% of their $350m odd revenue comes from US customers... Sell those shares!
Openadaptor was open-sourced by investment bank DrKW in 2001
"openadaptor is a Java/XML-based software platform which allows for rapid business system integration with little or no custom programming.
openadaptor can be loosely classified as EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) software. It is highly extensible and provides many ready-built interface components for JMS, LDAP, Mail, MQ Series, Oracle, Sybase and MSSQL Server as well as data exchange formats such as XML. New components are regularly added."
Not only that, but they often give games very poor reviews - I've seen some 2/10s, and 4/10 is not uncommon. Their reviewing policy is that 8/10 is a good score, and I think that they have only given 2 or 3 10/10s out in their (fairly long) history.
Also, it's chock-full of articles about games development, adverts for games jobs and articles looking back at classic games and development houses.
Highly recommended if you can get it - I buy it and I'm not even in the games industry.

It currently costs 30GBP for amounts claimed up to 300GBP. Mr Roberts deliberately kept the damages claimed at 300GBP so that he could pay the cheapest fees, as I heard him explain on the radio the other day.
The maximum costs for the small claims court is 120GBP, which would allow you to claim up to the maximum claim amount of 5,000GBP.
A Lehmann Brothers trader keyed in a £300m sell instead of £3m in 2001 and cost the company £20,000 (in fines, cos he moved the FTSE downwards with such a large sell order).
And a Bear Stearns employee typed in $4bn instead of $4m in 2002, again moving the index (thsi time the Dow Jones) down.
Mostly though these positions are unwound by agreement between the parties. I don't understand why that didn't apply here.
First/business class always get off before cattle class, on every flight I've been on.
Coming back from Sri Lanka once in business class, I was dithering around getting my stuff together and looked up to see a rather hostile group in economy, who weren't being allowed by the crew to get off until I had... Oops.
You'd better hope that it's as accurate as they claim. May I point the honourable gentlemen at the evidence provided against the Guildford Four and the victims of Bloody Sunday. The "explosive traces" could easily have come from a pack of playing cards!
Did anyone else read that as "Law Of Cosiness"?
Aw, bless.

Not necessarily!
How about the Reliant Robin?

This joke
My head
I'm British and it's still "is a noun", sorry!

Or, better, this link...
Actually, it's "An aitch-pee computer", not "An haitch-pee computer". See the wikipedia. What are they teaching in schools nowadays? .

And Welsh!
Welsh has different boundaries than English regarding blue and green. The word glas is usually translated as 'blue'. It can also refer, variously, to the colour of the sea, of grass, or of silver. The word gwyrdd is the standard translation for 'green'

Huh. Try The Guardian, especially the ball-by-ball and minute-by-minute cricket commentary.

Way to catch that tiny demographic! You go, Edubuntu!

Not for Darwin, I'm afraid. Spam was invented in 1937; Darwin died in 1882
He uses the sunblock on the ball. Quite legally, I should add (even though I'm English).
Oh, and for any perplexed readers, the Telstra Dome has a roof.

It's far more cluttered than it used to be. Not every online paper needs to look like USA Today (or whatever).
Also, does anyone like the Salon.com re-design? Almost exactly the same problem...

Damned "Print" button ;-)

Look at it the other way round... perhaps it's because law enforcement is better?
.
And yet, during the hours after the 7th July attacks in London, txt msgs were getting through when calls were not...?
