Holy fucking shit... I had one of those..
It actually broke my desk with it's carrier sliding back and forth...
And it would go over the same line 3 times to 'try' and mix the colors.
20 mins for a color print (that looked like SHIT!)
A few years ago (circa MS Flight Sim X) my unprotected wireless was used to download and share the aforementioned software through a torrent.
MS contacted my ISP (Cox) and I got a letter from MS's IP dept.
I had to go through quite a bit of paperwork and finally talk to someone at MS.
I explained that I didn't realize my neighbors had access to my wireless (honestly didn't think it would reach).
Basically I was told this was my one and only chance, don't let it happen again and secure my router.
The controllers I've used have the option of 'force rebuilding in event of a read error'.
Sure after a disk check there were some bad files that got placed in the 'found.001' folder, but guess what, I was lucky enough that the files were old and useless and the good stuff rebuilt 100%.
This is what I loved about AMD.
When I built a 100+ render farm, I was saving mega money on AMD CPU's. Same bang, less buck. And I strongly believe that AMD is the reason the Intel chips dropped in price so much over the last few years.
Wont belong before we buy from Microtel....
FTA: "outfitted with software called Computrace LoJack for Laptops, made by Absolute Software"
It really is just a piece of software running in the background.
I was hoping it would be some sort of BIOS level code, but it looks like a system wipe would do the trick.
I really just want to know, all that fancy hardware running all that open source software, can or will it run linux?
I mean sheesh, that whole list of software with, with custom compiled kernels (Incidently, I didn't even know you could do that in Windows...)
But no mention of which version of Windows....odd.
Can you imagine printing a large 300 DPI image, over the internet.
It takes forever on gigabit LAN.
Not to mention the bandwidth charges Adobe would be facing.
Nah, this is BS, can't happen.....bring out the gimp.
We recently had a CSR that was having a bad morning.
When she finally blew up with something to the effect of 'damn stupid fucking idiots', the customer on the phone asked her if she could put her on hold first before verbally assaulting her.
She was red faced once she realized that the hold light was off.
Only a couple of hours went by, then she got her walking papers.
If your going to leave the basement, might as well see what this 'girl' thing is all about.
On second thought, we need traffic to this site to keep it alive...
Never mind, girls are not real....keep reading......you don't remember anything I typed.

So, how many of you saw HD 1080i
I SOOOO feel you. My rig is insane and even after all the patches, FSX runs like SHIT. Got to be the game engine.
F'n awesome....coolest thing I've seen in a while.

Come on google...mount a camera on a camel.
I second that. Sorry had to do it. So what has everyone got in mind to spend that extra second doing?

They were worried about the lead-based paint...Oh wait
I think someone needs to make the 'cutoff point' a bit more literal.
Like, right below the chin?
I just hope I still have an old x86 system laying around to play it when it comes out. I better put an extra system in a vault somewhere....

Add a circuit that can detect DRM media and remove it from my hard drive.
The gov't must have money to burn. I'll take a couple more of those stimulus checks...
Which way is "up" anyhow?

But what version of Windows Server are you running all this on? *duck*
My karma ran over your dogma.
The ONLY reason I can see 'downgrading' to Vista, is to get Direct3D 10, most of us have seen the difference that it can offer over D3D9. *drool*

The worst part about all of this...you can't rip 'em open and take out the magnets when they die.
