    Last I checked, Bush didn't vote in the Senate. I was unaware he'd become that powerful. Next thing you know he'll declare war without Congress, authorize $700 billion in spending by himself, and develop a budget with a huge deficit.

    I'd be complaining about your "full spectrum" bulbs too. Nothing provides better color rendition than good ol' incandescent. I'm guessing you're just use to how "good", or blue, everything looks.

    A color temp of 3500K and a CRI of 100 is a perfect light bulb for home use. Those "full spectrum" bulbs are 6200K with a CRI of maybe 60. Incandescent bulbs are usually around 3200 with a CRI VERY close to 100.

    We have to raise them to be completely dependent on the government to do everything for them. Them not attending is showing independence and we can't have that when we're trying to raise Democ^h^h^h^h^h future voters.

    30+ trips to the strip club because you're up til midnight in the garage and wife won't notice you're gone because she's asleep on the couch

    You'd need to purchase a large assortment of tools

    You'd need to talk to a large assortment of tools working in the hardware store.

    Extra packing material used to ship this thing and the tools you'll have to buy

    Karate chopping styrofoam blocks that come in the boxes thus scattering tiny pieces everywhere

    Power to run the tools, A/C, lights, etc... for the countless hours you'll spend in the garage

    Power to cool down the extra fridge you'll add in the garage so you won't have to walk so far to get a beer

    Minimum 2 trips to the emergency room, see above point for reasoning

    Minimum 1 trip to jail for DWI

    Does it really matter if it's banned? First, just because it's banned doesn't mean the "bad guys" won't get it anyways. Second, the fact it's "invisible" would make it rather hard to find and confiscate.

    I think the current laws would work just fine in restricting it to legal usage only. If someone is caught using it to break a law, they get punished for whatever illegal act they committed.

    What's next, banning imaginary friends?

    You're saying if you owned a business, you would make it your goal to earn 5% more than breaking even? The average profit margin for the S&P 500 is around 8.5%. Have fun proposing a 5% profit margin to the boss!

    Saying corporations don't need big profit margins, says that they don't need to hire more people, explore new technology, develop cheaper manufacturing processes, etc... That's a quick way to go out of business when every other company is making a decent profit and improving their product.
