"Despite any advances AMD makes in CPU's, they still have such a sub par selection of chipset vendors. I'm very happy that Intel makes both the best CPU's and chipsets at the moment. It makes the decision easy. Because if AMD came out with a killer CPU but I had to resort to an NVidia/AMD/VIA chipset to run it, that would be quite a conundrum."
What are you complaining about? AMD also makes chipsets you said so yourself. AMD chipset. So they also make the CPU and chipset. Go slobber somewhere other.
I suppose, the only thing wrong is you are not spending more money to support the company that gave you your 2K Pro. They are propriety and need you to send your money in so they can keep their stock prices high and keep the cash flow positive. I have an XP Pro machine myself but it shares its computer with Mandriva 2009 now!:) In fact, I use my Linux system for almost all my internet transactions from home. I have some software that is windows only for the XP Pro side, but am considering using Wine to try to run that software too.
ABS does increase your stopping distance by letting go of the brake instead of letting the stopped tire scrape losing rubber on the roadway surface. Tire life is longer with ABS as usually is control of your vehicle, but it trades stopping distance for control.
I am a former Auto Mechanic, now an engineer.
CO2 is already used in Natural Gas wells to pressurize and keep the well running longer than if you did not return an inert gas to the well under pressure. I know of a US coal gasification plant that pipes their by-product CO2 to Canadian Natural Gas wells today. It works very well.
Wow, patents do stifle innovation, huh?
So you say it is crippled and extremely late, but could that be due to the use of patent laws? It is not a limitation of the people from Intel and MIT who are looking at it now that the patent monopoly has expired.
My local public library has that deal beat! Borrow the book on CD or cassette tape for free for a week or two! I believe that trumps your deal with Cracker Barrel.
Well, I use Mandriva at home, and its browser (Firefox) sometimes crashes, but the Linux stays stable. Something must be wrong if your browser is crashing Ubuntu.
where the scientist and layman are in a tree and it looks like a giant squid is reaching up from the ground with its arms and the layman says "Can't climb a tree? You are the one who said it couldn't leave the water!"
An easy fix for you is to go to linux! They will not support linux with their brouser, so you can just use the Firefox and be safer.;)
I recommend Mandriva Free 2008 Spring if you want all opensource or Mandriva's other versions if you want some propriety helps to smooth your experience.
Well, BD players can play DVDs, right?
So maybe for compatibility with the DVD players, you would just continue to buy DVDs since they cost less and the other players can play them.
But letting citizens defend themselves against people who have the guns anyway (Law or no law) just makes sense. He was right with the gun control issue as he was when he marched with MLK in the day.
When you get it, you secure it. Sheesh, you should know that already. What is with your silly question? You do not want it, give it to me and I will secure it.
If you believe (as I do) that Microsoft is buying Yahoo for its account/user base, then every employee at Yahoo is conceivably expendable since the value in Yahoo would lie in one of its raw assets (users) and not in the organizational structure of the company itself. Buying solely for the user accounts, would obviate the need for Yahoo as an entity.
That may be foolish, because one reason I use Yahoo! is that it is not Microsoft, and if acquired, I will leave Yahoo! like I would avoid a leper.
Why do you say "Fixed that for you." when what you did was change his original meaning dramatically? You of course ruined it for the GP, ShieldW0lf.

How soon you forget OS/2 and the screw job MS did to IBM there...
I suppose Acorn will call and Obama will say he had nothing to do with it. :)
Wouldn't once be enough? Do you really care anyway? :P
WTH is that? Just a metaphor?
There never was a Dbase I version, their initial release was Dbase II. :)

underwater dirigibles. They use water tanks for ballast and trim similar to the dirigibles used gas bags for lift and trim.

On the contrary, the GP is probably living life more than you are. :)

I agree! phlashing sounds like flashing! Stupid to use something that is phonically identical for different outcomes.

Good question, and I am like you going to seek another email service if MS does take over Yahoo. Not Google too.
When you get it, you secure it. Sheesh, you should know that already. What is with your silly question? You do not want it, give it to me and I will secure it.
Well, I think your answer is "Yes," Ameriphobe
