It's a lot more than 30 entries.:) It has to check all future occurances of each show, and then check to see where conflicts are so it knows which ones it will record in the future.
On the other hand, I too wish the UI would return control during long operations. Perhaps a Picture in Picture system could be added, letting you switch between UI and TV.
Actually, as someone who's working at a web host, I can tell you Citibank does take this sort of thing seriously, and they are interested to know where the sites are being hosted.
Who knows what they do with that information. Maybe nothing. Still, it's worth reporting, if only to show that the community is against these frauds.
The Treo 600 can be used as a modem, via a USB cable. Bundle that with Sprint or T-Mobile service (unlimited data for ~$10 or $15/month) and you've got net.
Can't say what kind of firewall they have on it, but if you have a laptop with you (if you're a repair tech you probably do) then you can use it as a firewall.
FWIW, the evil character's legs are grotesquely disfigured because he's a goat-man or something. Also, the film camera could apparently only handle ~30 seconds of film at a time (so I've read), explaining the large number of cuts (rivaled only by The Bourne Supremecy;) ).
Speaking of bad movies, one movie I've been looking for was called "The Wizard of Mars" (amongst other things). I remember seeing it when I was young, and laughing all the way through - especially at the end, with the 20 minute or so scene of the guy's head talking.
Heh, that'll go over well, Microsoft writing software that disables other manufacturers software - even temporarily - just to get their stuff installed.
Big difference. Registering fallwell.com and making it anti Jerry Falwell is a political statement. Registering gooogle.com to derive traffic from typos is scamming.
First off, you don't have to publish your content on the Internet, where everyone can view it.
Second, you can trivially set up a download limit on your site by removing (moving elsewhere) the content automatically if it gets X many hits in an hour (say).
Anyways, the settings for the vertical geometry are:
Refresh rate 59.352Hz Active 960 lines, 15.004 ms Front porch 45 lines, 0.703 ms Sync width 3 lines, 0.047 ms Back porch 70 lines, 1.094 Total 1078 lines, 16.849ms
I have a 1280x1024 LCD, and found that to be annoying as well. Many games run at 1280x960. What I ended up doing was I got "PowerStrip", a Windows app, that lets you tweak some settings manually. Basically now when I play those games there's a small bar on top and a small bar on the bottom (about 1/2" each). I don't notice the bars while playing, and the game isn't stretched. Plus I can play games that run at 1280x1024;)
Everquest started out interesting, but quickly became boring as everywhere you would go there would be a group or a single person camping an item or a spawn. You'd play striving to see something new and interesting someone told you about, and then finally, when you're close, you learn that that new and interesting thing now has a calendar set up to schedule who's allowed to "enjoy" it.
It became one of the more boring games I've ever played. Sad, because I thought it had a lot of potentional except for the camping issue.
The last thing Doubleclick (or any advertiser) wants to do is give the webmaster the impression that their network is unstable, and give them a way to easily shut their ads off.
The lack of contrast in the design elements is rather difficult on the eyes. On the default scheme, my eyes can easily track through each individual comment. Now they have to hunt more to find the comments and subjects.
How does one look up one of these spf records? I've tried all sorts of "host -t txt" and "dig -t txt" queries to no avail. The keywords make it a difficult thing to just go and google for unfortunately.;)
The problem here is that sellers are realizing that a lot of buyers are "greedy" - they're looking for a great deal, and are sometimes blinded by the deal.
If they're concerned that they may be scammed out of the money, they need to utilize an escrow service. They're not that expensive (compared to the alternative).
However on XP Pro (dunno about others, not a lot of info out there about it) File->Open causes a system crash. Still, being able to read DXF seems like a good goal.

I wonder how many of those 4 billion people even have access to electricity in their homes.
There's a third option - make something else.

How about the amount of waste generated by loading the it.slashdot.org page, and then having to reload it as shit.slashdot.org for every IT article?
Heh.
Sounds the same to me. MXO is opt-in, too.
Yeah, really. Why should the President of the United States be free to say anything?
:)
(Not that I'm a W supporter.

Crap. That wasn't it.

Works very well, and automatically.

Replace "it" with "games" (or as someone else pointed out "shit") and it will go back to a sane color scheme. Works with any story, apparently.
The color scheme is terrible, yeah.
A friend of mine pointed out that if you change the "it." in the URL to say... "games." it works fine, and is readable.
How do you sleep at night, without assurances from your vendors that their software or hardware will never fail?
Heh, no doubt. It's more like:
"Shit, another new version of PHP. Customers will ask for it even though they'll never use whatever is new."

It's still a very competitive market.

Of course, you're right. I never would have heard of MIT if it weren't for the national coverage of their basketball teams.
