Babies are *far* worse than cell phone users. Far, far, far worse. At least you can get headphones and listen to something loud. It's really hard to ignore baby-diaper stench, especially in an enclosed pressurized cabin.

We use Include's to handle that. Include conf/vhosts.conf for example. Then the httpd.conf files are, almost always, identical.
Most of the new phones will let you assign different ringtones to different people, so you know who's calling by listening. Kind of neat, but I do wish they'd just include boring old standard ringer sounds like in the old days.
My phone (Treo 600) doesn't have regular ringers on it. They're all annoying. I miss the old crappy sound chips they had in the older phones. My current ring tone is a repeating "beep" that unfortunately does not sound like a pager.
It already is. At least, mine is. I bought the Treo 600 because it was a Palm based PDA with great battery life and features, and even better, it can connect to the Internet from anywhere a cell phone can (basically).
Plus, there's no guarantee Valve will always offer the game for download. Who knows, they could get "hacked" again and have to pull all the files down for another year (and call it Patch 1:)
I'm not convinced that would be enough. They have the resources to turn to private jets and stuff. I say we get their staff on the list. Someone that's important to them, but not important enough that they'd pay to charter rates to fly 'em around.
Who'd want to wear a Pepsi brand shirt anyways? Every day I see people proudly wearing brand names on their clothing, but I do wonder if people would miss them if they suddenly weren't available for purchase.
A friend of mine turned me on to this idea. Sure, the devil is in the details, but it seems like it'd be one of the most fair ways to handle the problem.
Keeping inattentive/drunk drivers of the road would help keep the costs down, too. (Perhaps impounding their cars, selling them, etc would do it)
sudo is such a hack. I say good riddance. At the same time as we banish sudo, let us also banish the requirement that only root can bind to ports lower than 1024, and remove many other root-only restrictions. (Obviously, put some thought into 'em;) )
Also, unless you're in the state they're in, you don't have to pay them taxes, and shipping is free. So basically the price you see is the price you pay. I buy almost all of my DVDs from them.
Futurama Season 3 $36.59, and Walmart is >$37 (not including tax or shipping)
That reminds me of when I had my root canal done. The most painful thing I have ever experienced in my life was when he put that needle to my swollen gum, to numb the area for drilling.
On the followup appointment (to put a plug in the tooth that was draining), I told him just to use extra topical and skip the injection. Barely felt a thing then.
Any time a friend is having a root canal I tell them this story, just in case they have a similar experience, I hope to save them at least some pain.:)
Definitely. Although, at home, I would like to be able to access my network, do things like hotsync over wireless (something I don't want to do over Sprint since I'd have to open up the firewall), download mp3s w/o using the USB cable, PalmVNC, etc.

Verified by Visa is one of the biggest hassles ever. Nothing is actual verified by Visa - it's a lie - they're all verified by third-party verifiers.

Enough of this talk. Let's.... kill a human.

How many people use goodbye? Oh, right, lots of people do!
No.

And when you decide to opt out of it, will they count your "violations" against your score as if they were ticketed? Probably.

I thought it was funny, and I didn't know about the song. The guy wants to do the one hot girl who thinks D&D is cool.

"All that's required is figuring how to trigger the exposures."
I must be a terrorist.
I read "explosives."
Sure, if it's illegal. What I'm saying is that it's irrational, even if it is law.
However, no rational person would expect you to be arrested over flipping the flag upside down. (Plenty of irrational people would, of course ;) )
"I hope the OP wasn't really expecting to get useful feedback out of this question"
Who would have guessed that Slashdot would be a poor place to get medical advice?
"-- higher power consumption?"
Yep. Exactly why it's taken this long to get a SD WiFi card in the first place.

SDIO doesn't provide a lot of power. That's been the biggest stumbling block to date for getting WiFi cards on Palms.
I'm disappointed that, apparently, it won't work on other models such as the Treo 600.
