Well, children should really be "worth" less, since they have had less invested in them. An adult with an education has had hundreds of thousands of dollars invested, and is likely a contributing member of society. A child of four years has cost nowhere near as much, is a drain on society for many years still, and much more easily replaced.

Which of course sucks all the more, since the drinks inside of security have a hefty mark-up.

Then you've got the people like me, who dual boot all of their systems (so we're already customers, anyhow).

I've seen this claim too many times now. I also dual boot for the few games that I cannot play under Linux, when I can be bothered - which is not often. Dual booting is a hassle, especially since it happens so seldom, it usually involves updating the Steam client, the games, and even Windows itself which takes forever. So I don't do it (anymore). If a game is only available for Windows, I no longer buy it. I have so many Linux games already, I have no need for something that I know I won't be playing.

There you go; at least one instance of "lost sale due to Windows only".

Please explain why wearing a beard displays a lack of discipline or lack of military readiness.

It is my understanding that beards are disallowed in the infantry, because they prevent the gas mask to properly seal around your face. (Same probably goes for fighter pilots, but in their case it's about the oxygen mask.) This would also explains why it was not a problem in the Civil War, when chemical warfare was not yet invented, or at sea where the risk of a gas attack is minimal.

There is plenty of room for doubt. Actually, that is the rational stance unless one has already made up their mind before hand. There's hardly any evidence outside the bible that Jesus actually existed, most of it probably about someone else (it was a common name at the time, no wonders nor crucifixion mentioned, etc.) or doctored by some zealous monk later on.

The "Previous message" arrow also sucks. If we disregard the fact that the previous-next-order is backwards IMO, it still simply does not work when newer messages have arrived since opening the latest one. If I open the lastly arrived message in the inbox, and another one arrives while I am reading it, the inbox link displays a new message, but clicking the "Previous" arrow displays the message "You have reached the first message in Inbox.", and I have to go back to Inbox and click the new message from there. What a piece of shit. Same thing with the threaded conversations, btw.
