    We know for a fact and have documented at least two people repeatedly, for over half an hour each day for months on end, trying to access porn and porn-related sites. Yet, like the SEC, none have been canned.

    I have found the same thing in my network logs a couple of times. In each case I have messed with our proxy server to point those requests to https://www.pokemon.com/
    Same thing right?

    Of course I still play Quake.
    But I play it on my netbook, at 800x576. The strange thing is I paid less for my netbook than I paid for a video card good enough to play GL Quake back in the day.

    I don't do mail in rebates. If the regular retail price is too high then I do not buy. I value my free time very highly ($100 per free hour.) So filling out a rebate form neatly enough for them to read, then going to the store to buy a stamp. (I pay all my bills online.) So if I figure I would spend 1 hour getting the rebate, that rebate would have to be for over $100 for it to be worth my time.

    Can you not see the security risk of just not updating the definition files?
    If they stopped updating the files that in a few months you might as well not be running and AV software.
    They did exactly the right thing, in exactly the right way.

    You are right. One of them is in my server room, and a new box that is showing up next week is now NOT getting Solaris on it, but will be getting Debian instead.
