What kills me is... YOU DONT HAVE TO USE THE FORUMS. The problem is that it's become popularly known to stay away from the Blizz based forums because they're just filled with Trolls and little to nothing of value. I think Blizzard wants to fix that and to be honest forcing people to expose themselves is the best way to do it.
As for "exposing children" and women's names. GET OVER IT AND DONT USE THE FORUMS and DONT LET YOUR CHILDREN USE THEM. How many times does that simple little fact need to be expressed and why are you even letting your child onto the Internet unsupervised in the first place?
It's like all of you people seem to think once you're on the Internet you're forced to use all of these services that are out there and fortunately it is that way so I'm not forced to create a Facebook or Paypal account.
I'm really getting tired of this parenting for other people (and at this point I mean parenting for other adults too) attitude that this world has taken on. Grow up and grow some responsibility for your own actions and those of your offspring.
Finally! I almost posted this myself. Build your own, there are tons of resources on the web for building your own arcade cabinet. Building just the control module is easy.
That tag is a bad one, the reason Activision wants to do this is what they've done to Warcraft. They want the micro transactions and the ability to rampantly charge for services and NOT have to go through a middleman like Microsoft or Nintendo.
This isn't the "finally" we're looking for and really I would argue there are a large number of people that PREFER to have consoles because of the consistency in most consoles. I like that I don't have to tweak my system to get the best possible experience. I like that I only have to buy a $400 game system every 5 or so years instead of a $150-300 video card every other year.
I'm sorry, but Apple may be the bad guy to you, but they're only the bad guy because of the demands brought on by publishers.
Lets face reality here, when you used to buy a single in the non-digital days on a cassette you were forced to only the actual singles that were released and I remember paying $6-8 for a copy (that degrades over time on magnetic media) of the song with one other b-side song (usually crap). Cassettes were often $12-14 and when CDs were introduced there were numerous attempts to pull prices up to $20.
Today you pay $1-$1.30 for a single song, you can buy any of them off the album and you can get most albums for $10.
And Apple has pushed less DRM on the music and to increase the quality since the store's inception. Even the single download is a music publisher restriction (a stupid one too) placed on Apple to allow Apple to distribute. Blame the MPAA and RIAA. These download restrictions do not exist on Apps and Books served from the iTunes store.
Using a case or "bumper" eliminates the use of a dock. This has been a long standing problem that apple should have addressed a LONG time ago in design all the way back to the original iPods.
Somewhat. They allowed devices up to 16GB for standard usage.
You can use a large drive through usb for generic media viewing, but features like copying the game to the hard drive and saving games aren't available on those drives. I think you might be precluded from storing downloaded games on those drives as well.
You missed the part that Cisco gave up the trademark on the iOS to Apple. It was quietly reported around the WWDC, just thought I'd let you know so you can remove the question mark on future posts.
Most of us would like to read outside, but are content to do it in shadier places to avoid melanoma. We're also the same people that like to read in bed where position and need for external light sources become an issue.
And lets be honest, if you're sunbathing at the beach, you're not bringing a few hundred dollar device that will be susceptible to damage from sand, water damage by a pool, sunblock or sweat or exposed to potential theft while taking a dip in the pool or ocean. You are not the target audience.
You know that 95% approved in the first week is kind of fuzzy. It doesn't necessarily mean that 95% of apps are approved, it could just be that 95% of approved apps are approved within the first week, the other 5% have a much longer process.
They didn't actually give us an estimate on the number of apps declined. I sense that number is actually MUCH higher given the amount of crap people try to throw at the app store and knowing how many bad coders are out there.
Policy probably promotes stores that had better sales for accessories or turn around on the sims.
It was probably store management PUSHING sales with these. iPads aren't having a problem selling and people that want them are more likely to buy with them.
Why is this a big deal, when I bought my Wii the first month of its release, I was forced to buy it in an overpriced bundle with a bunch of games with a final price tag of $700 from Gamestop. EVERY store did this and EVERY store sold out.
Once again, corporate blamed for the bite from the little snake in the grass.
Sadly you can get a comp sci phd without knowing how to properly work with a computer, it's not hard given how abstract and math centric the curriculum are at many schools and universities.
In many of those schools graphics is relegated to reams of algorithms and theory and anything UI related is pushed off to the graphic design departments.
Right, but not all floors are created equal. I'm in a building where they build a HUGE datacenter on the second floor, and only about 1/3 of the floor can actually be occupied, and most of it needs to be spread out to lower the density on any particular beam.
Guess you aren't an engineer or work for a company that has millions to spend on an entirely new building to support IT requirements that didn't exist when the department was first formed.
What I do want though is for someone to see how badly they are robbing us in text message plans and the fact that we pay so much more for an outdated infrastructure and none of the costs are balanced. When everything moves to LTE it'll be more of a nightmare when we're paying for multiple services and they all use the same infrastructure. It will support voip for calls and we don't really need SMS to do texting, the phone company just likes to charge us through the nose for it.
THEY'RE NOT FORCING ANYONE TO POST ANYTHING YOU DON'T HAVE TO USE THE FORUM SERVICE!!!
And yes the shouting is mandatory because some of you people don't seem to get that fact, you just want to get your Internet feathers up in a storm.

It's like getting pee out of the pool once it's out there.
Sorry Shazam, this is information and we live in the new Renaissance, an age of information freedom.
Evolve or die.

They come close AFTER you root the devices which is akin to Jailbreaking. Please stop this argument.

You do realize SUNBATHING IS UNHEALTHY.

You're really going to bring a device susceptible to water damage next to a pool when the alternative is an $8 paperback?
Do yourself a favor and avoid the melanoma, sit under the shade.
Which you had to root to get access to, which is no different than a jailbreak. Good luck with your android OS on an inferior device.
You get a work phone, it's work's property. Don't do shit with it you don't want your employer to see.
If you work in public sector, don't do or say things on it you don't want the public to know.

Hotel WiFi costs are even more outrageous, furthermore the last time I connected to one, it was less secure than riding on my tethered connection.
Not all employers provide work materials, hell I have to pay for parking where I am.

What surprises me is that you updated without understanding that could be a problem and without preparing yourself to back out of the update.
I test my updates and have a procedure to go back to system state prior to the update. Usually it takes about an hour.
That's the problem with MS and Windows admins.... they don't understand, they just typically have a certificate that says they took a class.

Probably the guy who decided the floor couldn't support the weight so it needed to be on the bottom floor...

2GB is awful. I do that easily with remote desktop to my home and work PCs which is what I need the wireless for to begin with.
