Tae Kwon Do is a waste of time. Sitting around shooting the breeze with friends is a waste of time etc. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean it sucks. Other people can say the same thing about stuff you like to do. The only legitimate comment you can make is that you don't like to do it. To each his own.
There is no scientific evidence that supports parapsychology. All those links are nothing but pseudoscience and consist of books written by crackpots and cranks who understand nothing about the scientific method.
Maybe you should read the news more often. Did you not see the recent report showing that if we had not banned CFCs from aerosol sprays in the 70's that the ozone hole would have grown so large that areas as far south as Washington D.C. would be experiencing high levels of ultraviolet light.
What he's complaining about is that he spent huge amounts of time and effort getting what he has and he doesn't want anyone else to get the same stuff without also spending huge amounts of time and effort. This is a common problem in all MMO games as time goes on. They add new features to the game to reduce downtime and improve playability and all the old timers whine about how how hard they had it when they started playing etc.
Were talking about Oklahoma here. One of their senators is James Inhofe who vehemently denies global warming among other things so it's not surprising that they would pass this resolution. This is all about evolution. This resolution is nothing more than a thinly veiled defense of religion and creationism and intelligent design. The majority of the christians who live in Oklahoma couldn't care less about free thinking. They want to shove their religious beliefs down other peoples throats.
The story was lame. It was like they had a plot then didn't know where to go with it and decided to change it in the middle. The best mission was the insane asylum. All the others were exactly the same. Bonk people over the head, steal the item and escape.
Not only that the game had a strange bug with USB keyboards that made it think that certain keys were constantly being held down when the game loaded or after loading an area. The only way to fix it was to unplug the keyboard and plug it into a different USB port. Try doing that every time you enter a new area. BTW that's the only game in which I've ever seen that bug.
A water molecule has more mass than two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom do separately, even if they all have the same kinetic energy (i.e. even if they are all jiggling at the same speed.)
I beg to differ. If your statement was correct then the reaction between Hydrogen and Oxygen would be endothermic. But since Hydrogen reacts with Oxygen to produce water and heat that means that a small part of the total mass of the Hydrogen and Oxygen must have been turned into energy. Therefore that means that a water molecule weighs slightly less than 2 hydrogens and 1 oxygen and therefore your statement is incorrect.
It's one thing to say there's no physical evidence of a soul, but it's pretty arrogant to use that as the basis for claiming that it doesn't exist at all. Until we've fully reverse-engineered the universe (including how self-awareness works), I'm staying neutral on the topic.
So you're saying that there's a possibility that Santa Claus exists even though there is no evidence?
If the energy to power the data center comes from fossil fuels then it wouldn't matter whether it was located on land or on the ocean. The same amount of heating would occur. If they wind up using wave, solar and wind power to provide power to the oceanic data center then there would be no net increase in warming. Not only that but the oceanic data center powered by green power would reduce demand on the local power grid in a city. Using cold sea water to cool the equipment is far more efficient than using AC.
What if I hire someone to play my character for me when I'm at work; am I violating Blizzards contract with me since the person playing isn't the person who bought the game? What if I have 2 accounts and multibox them? Am I violating their copyright by running 2 instances of the game even though I only bought 1 copy? This decision is idiotic and should be thrown out.
Nothing annoys me more than vain politicians having things named after themselves. Especially scientific instruments. Robert Byrd is one of the biggest pork barrel spenders in congress and in my opinion nothing should be named after him.
What about "The Demon Haunted World: Science as a candle in the dark" By Carl Sagan,"The Blind Watchmaker" by Richard Dawkins, "The fabric of the Cosmos" by Brian Greene etc. EW is a bunch of idiots.
Also, a lot of states have laws preventing manufacturers from selling directly to customers or controlling the means of distribution.

You are correct sir. For example, the set of irrational numbers is larger than the set of integers.
That was one of my favorite bullfrog games. I liked creating volcanos on the enemies base.
I forgot about Powermonger and Syndicate.
You forgot 2 other great games by Bullfrog, Populous and Magic Carpet.

You can't kill something that doesn't exist.

Woah. She looks like she hit the wall and then ate it.

Nothing is outside the realm of science. If you can't prove it it doesn't exist. The burden of proof lies the the person making the claim.

You're a moron. Take your crank science and go talk about it on the "electric universe" site.
Err Plugh. Same goes for Xyzzy.
Pugh is from Colossal Cave Adventure not Zork.

He's talking about the experience of playing the game not the experience that levels up your character. Duh.

Oh my beloved ice cream bar. How I love your creamy center.
