And so they should be toothless, the fucktards. Better a 15 year old be able to buy something he shouldn't than an entire population not be able to buy something that they should. Censorship of retail media is completely irrelevant in the internet era, why even bother?
You describe the situation for the former A-G as terrible - it's only terrible for him. No-one else gives a fuck as it doesn't matter any more.
Except when you live in the country and the only available broadband is via telstra. Monopolist bastards will be the first against the wall when the NBN arrives...
I suspect it's also got a lot to do with retailers getting SFA margin on any apple product. Have you ever asked why the actual sell price on any apple product in AU is really close to the apple store price? Accessories are the only way a retailer can make anything selling apple gear. Maybe this is what the ACCC should be looking into...
Correct, from 21st May Paypal must be one of the payment methods.
But, and I quote the email sent by eBay,
"From 17 June you will only be able to offer PayPal on your listings and pay on pick up (i.e.paid for when picking up the item)."
This, by omission, excludes direct bank deposit, cheque and money order, all of which are popular and very much cheaper than Paypal.
Another Schneier-esque movie plot threat - spend billions to detect a threat which has an almost zero chance of materialising. How about if terrorists got hold of a new species of killer beers? I'll provide the insect spray, can I have a grant now please?
Triple J (public youth broadcaster) in Australia have Triple J Unearthed. Unsigned bands can upload their tracks and anyone can download them. DRM free, of course. Listeners can review and rate the tracks and there are a number of "most popular" charts by genre. A handful of big Aussie acts got their start through the Unearthed programme.

And Quake didn't have strippers.
So Solitaire is the best then?

just as they'd also take notice if threatened with a nuclear strike. Each case is equally likely to occur.
Dude, you just earned your handle.
So your sample size of one camera and one pair of shoes leads you to say everything from an entire country is shit?
No, you wrote up a bunch of crap to whore your blog and included the link in that.
How about just posting the link to the adobe kb instead?

I use NTFS on mine.
Windows obviously works, linux works well with NTFS-3G and I believe you can get NTFS-3G to work in OS X via macfuse.
There is no spoon
How the hell is this tripe insightful?
Slashdotters are largely made up of people on the far right side of the bell curve distribution of intelligence.
Have you actually read any of the comments on slashdot?
Link please

I've seen fish like Carp act like vacuum cleaners - maybe this dino grazed in water?
