    I've found a standard ballpeen or claw hammer works well...

    A 3 or 5 pound sledge also works, but those aren't typically
    household items.

    Phoenix has a neat little tool from the University of Central Florida
    to help with the color-

    They're called color-calibration targets and are about the size of hockey pucks. Each device is covered with color chips, designed by University of Central Florida Physics and Astronomy Professor Dan Britt and two students. When Phoenix's camera takes pictures of the terrain, it will also capture the calibration targets, allowing scientists to compare the colors in each photo and determine the actual hues.

    Of course it spans 6 pages. That way if you like the article - they get 6 ad views. Perfect for them

    The very first thing to do when visiting sites that do this is to find the 'print'
    button. That puts the article on one page and usually removes annoying animation...

    What sort of budget limits do you guys have for your show these days? I remember seeing some earlier episodes where money really seemed to be an issue

    Along this same line... Wouldn't it be easier on the post-production budget
    if you spent $10 on some paint and/or duct tape up front, instead of blurring logos and such after filming?

    The blurred image is really an annoyance...

    I recommend "A Practical Guide to Linux" by Mark G. Sobell for a very good distro neutral book. Although it might be a little light on admin specific stuff.

    I've been holding off grabbing any of the release
    candiates hoping the zlib, OpenSSH and other
    recent security fixes would be incorporated.

    I can't find mention of these updates for 8.2 on
    the Mandrake announcement site, or forums.

    Anyone know if zlib and the gang have been fixed?

    My query about this on the Mdk forums was
    immediately marked as "-1: Offtopic" suggesting
    to me the fixes are not there. :/
