    People are too fucking lazy to buy a proper garbage can that is animal proof, they also think feeding the wildlife is helping. The problem is the education level of the population has continued a downward spiral and will only get worse.

    Actually the Russians did figure out a way to split it in 1/2 their super deep drilling project, if you pack the bottom if it with a lot of nuclear warheads and then detonate the 900MT ish bomb you will technically give the planet an exit would on the other side as the shockwave travels through the magma and will rupture the crust .

    so yes, we CAN do some serious damage to the planet if we really tried hard enough. And that is the problem NOBODY IS TRYING HARD ENOUGH!

    Because you are using high end stuff like Crestron and AMX. the other crap are simply toys. If it's cloud based it will not work a LOT of the time.

    So yes they are correct, good robust and reliable smart homes ARE expensive.

  7. I have all but #2. and #2 is the REASON I dont go to a movie theater and spend thousands on building my own at home.
    And yes my speaker system kicks the ASS of almost all big theaters. because mine is tuned and sounds good. Theirs is abused and some snot nosed idiot kid messed with the EQ.

  8. Get the right thunderbolt box. the cheaper crappier ones do not supply enough power and require a "hack" that does not work anymore.
    Friend of mine uses the "devil box" with his MBP and Final Cut all the time for video editing.

    It's overpriced, you can learn more on your own, and a degree does not make you any more hireable than no degree. There are TONS of degree holders working at walmart or flipping burgers. Hell my wife with her BSA can not get more than $13 an hour because women dont deserve male pay levels.

    Do not go to college, go to a trade school or join a journeyman program and get a real education.

  10. Both of them use the keyboards and ignore touch.

    Every single Surface pro I see used is used with the keyboard and they use the trackpoint spot on the keyboard cover. When I had the Surface Pro I tried to use the touchscreen. It's pretty darn useless if you are doing any real work.

    Microsoft also released the XboX Pro that will join a domain and the wireless now supports a RADIUS client to connect to corperate wifi.

    But they still did not add in any SNMP. so of course the network admin is still raging.

    But it does!

    When I can manufacture in China where I don't have to pay for air scrubbers or sewage treatment but instead dump the waste chemicals in the river and simply blow all the fumes from manufacturing outside I have much higher profits.

    The EPA strangles companies trying to make maximum profits by not blotting out the sun with pollution or turning the waterways into chemical tubs of death.

    Rich people profits are far more important than clean water and clean air.

    Except when there is industry collusion to keep prices inflated. The golf industry is ABSOLUTELY big on that. Golf balls are incredibly cheap to make and Titleist knows their balls are not worth what they sell them for.

    Sounds like someone is pissy he cant fly through a residential area at 50mph instead of the 25mph he is supposed to go. Speed bumps around here are no problem at all if you take them at or below the posted speed limit. The only people that hate them are the self righteous greedy assholes that speed through a residential area.
