When I was a teenager I used my household phone to ring up hundreds of dollars worth of virtual furniture in Habbo Hotel. I never got caught. No one noticed. These companies are making money off of people like me (as a teenager).
I've learnt over the years to completely ignore any predictions made on a time based framework. They are just pulling that number out of their ass. They haven't performed intense and complicated calculations to determine when such and such is going to come out, and how. The fact of the matter is that no one knows.
There will be a lot of elderly people who worked for forty years to earn their home and won't care about a bit of radiation. That is, if they even cared enough to leave in the first place.
Developers are simply scared of losing profits when their software can be manipulated and redistributed. The solution? Keep everything on their side of the fence.
This is not a new idea. It just takes people some time to come up with reasonable sounding excuses.
Honestly, the best way to make yourself attractive to employers is to make something. It doesn't have to be particularly notable, but it should do something interesting. Nothing impresses a job interviewer more than "I made this". It is in many ways superior to "I spent 4 years getting this piece of paper."
Degrees are overrated.
Reading this article made me cringe in much a similar fashion to how I respond to any particular artistic or entertainment based journalism; they are simply full of bullshit. The arts and enterinment industry in general have so little objectivity to comment on that anything but recitation of the facts is akin to heresy.
It probably doesn't matter to the big game dev studios, but to the purists, OpenGL's cross-platform support is one of the biggest positives in my opinion.
As the spokesperson for the Australian Child Pornography Union, I must say that us pedophiles are going to make a stand for our legitimate lifestyle in the face of government tyranny. If the filtering scheme is not abolished at once, then we will probably do something bad!
Whatever you do, DO NOT join up with some "game design" course. They are a complete was of time and money. You will learn how to make a script for Spongebob Squarepants, not Bioshock.

I say, mates, this is bloody impressive.
I do not have a problem with Twilight being censored. I don't know what the big deal is about.
Totally changing my network name to this.
Is this from one box of cookies, or all of them?

I'm sorry to ruin everyone's fun but this is full of visual glitches.

I think a more accurate title would be "Neural Nets Intended on Making Art While High".
This topic has been censored by the Chinese Communist Party.

I suppose they just ficked off, then.
Obviously employers DO NOT need to use reverse psychology.
I think first companies need to make employees feel comfortable criticizing their superiors.
... is it good Nietzscheanship?
How do you shrug over the phone? Must be a leaked version of some new telecommunications software from China.

!/. worthy.
It might be better in general but it's never been worse in Australia.
I TOOK one of these courses, and we are not talking about game engines at that.

Deep fried Mars bars crispier and hotter than previously thought.
