The next iPhone will produce an electric shock through its case if you pick the phone up more than twice an hour or hold it longer than a minute. Perhaps it will give you 15 second delay just in case you are actually making a phone call in which case it will disable the shock until the call is ended.
Just have someone sit and watch each employee to see how they fix a phone. Shouldn't be hard to find the one calling 911 as part of their test procedure.
It was just a code-signing certificate that they used on all their executables that expired and Windows won't run an exe with an expired cert. It's good security practice to sign all your executables to prevent them from being altered or hacked.
Their only problem is that they should have renewed the certificate in one of their updates prior to today but I'm guessing the one person that knew probably was let go at some point.
This is probably a good move. I'd rather watch older TV shows than movies any day. Usually, I already have the bluray of a movie or I've seen it in a theater long before Netflix gets it on their network. And if I like a movie, I'll spend the $20 to have a permanent copy of it. I would never trust Netflix or any streaming service to keep it around forever.
Older TV Shows however are almost impossible to find to buy or are horrendously expensive to get all the seasons. Having them on Netflix makes it very easy to find and watch them any time you like instead of relying on your cable networks to decide to play them at bad hours and with tons of commercials.
You seem to forget that the money spent on meals, movies, toys, etc is actually going to the pay of hundreds or even thousands of people who are involved in providing those things for sale. Better that your money keeps them employed than just spending it all on charity. Don't stop supporting charity too though:)
And I haven't really seen any bad abuse there. The dislikes are usually very small compared to likes. I actually dislike social media sites that only expect you to like everything.
Doesn't matter how far the street is. If I have to put on shoes and a coat for cold weather and leave my house to meet a car on the street, I'm not ordering from them. The whole point of ordering in, is that I don't have to go out.
It's easy to setup and it just works. No hacking required and simple enough to use for any age.
It supports Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, sport networks, and many other TV sources. And if you want to play your own content, just install the Plex app and Plex on your computer for free. And when you're not using it, the screen savers are beautiful.
Just watched that again over the summer. Scary beginning, 99% pointless middle, ends with the evil city destroyed by bad guy Trashcan Man. He's the only character in 8 hours that actually did something to stop Flagg. Still, that first act should be something to pay attention to.
Who accidentally gets shot in the back seat of a shuttle craft? And will Star Trek language will go where no language has gone before? Far beyond that one swear in Discovery...
Nothing is stopping any of the WhiteHouse staff from leaking things while at home, on the bus, etc. And this ban doesn't cover their computer at the office. They can probably access any social network, send emailed documents to whoever with that. Or they could just meet in person with a reporter if they want it to be harder to trace.
The only thing this ban might prevent is photos or video recordings of classified material in a classified meeting. It can't stop a person from talking about it later though.
The crazy thing is, he is actually performing a scientific experiment whether he believes in science or not. His theory is that the world is flat, and he is building his rocket to test his theory. Smart people would probably just stick a GoPro on a weather balloon. Much easier test...
I thought mining from websites would only happen if you went to a page that uses it. Anyone browsing one of the 20 web sites that North Korea has? If they're even on the general Internet at all.
I guess they could be doing through hacked ads or something like that, but we're all running ad-blockers right? Right?
No, they can still build an entire virtual environment for you in the glasses and still do simple games. They just can't track if you're walking around your room. Some Oculus games now work by looking at a marker for 5 seconds to move to other places or move your head around to steer. That controller could help for navigation as well.
I installed it on my 6 right away and haven't noticed any slow downs. Even runs good with the screen recorder running. Tried a few games as well, but I don't have any of those really graphics intensive ones to know how they'd fair.
People always seem to forget the amount of R&D that goes into making a product. How long and how many people at what wages? How many prototypes were created and tested? How much for the marketing? All of that costs money and is recovered through the sales price. I imagine they still make a good chunk of profit once costs are recovered but you can't just say it's $20 per set.
All your data has already been copied a thousand times to other companies. I doubt Facebook will be forcing them to delete their copies too.

Sorry,... shouldn't affect anyone :)
Since the 8s hasn't even been released yet.
They picked "Starlink"? I mean, this is literally a "Skynet". Hope it wasn't licensing that stopped them.

No, they just don't want everyone knowing that they were using a magic 8 ball.

An iPad can replace a computer when they can actually write all the code for iOS on an iPad. Until then, people will need real computers.

Unless they can actually cash out that billion at any moment, I wouldn't consider it real.

It will come with LickID. You lick the screen and it will analyze your DNA to check your authentication.

We figured this out with the iPad Pro's earlier this year. It's not surprising the iPhones work the same.
