    Is it just me or is this whole article flamebait? Thanks for pointing your vehicle history and the fact you enjoy to be a deep state of fear while driving but you need to take the time to understand why drivers do the things they do before jumping to a conclusion to set yourself back ten years. Do you really believe people text while driving because they feel safe?

    Get a life. It's poor economic theories taken to the extreme as you presented that bankrupt companies every year. Like "Oh let's buy this $500,000 tractor instead of the older $100,000 because I like the brand better and believe it to be superior" which you did sneak in there obviously, stating in your first example it was not a Zune. In reality, How many $50 players can he buy and use before he catches up to that overpriced model, which too will inevitably be replaced, lost, or daamged?

    Let's hope this case costs Apple millions, followed by a price increase for the blind Apple fan boys which they will undoubtedly pay. I do not believe there was a single innovation in the iphone to begin with, as it was all repackaged ideas from companies like HTC...time they actually pay for some of that theft!

    I would personally avoid persons in IT with upwards of 15 years. Why? In general, they tend to be much more set in their ways and significantly less adaptive to change, which is obviously important. The guy preaching we can make Windows 95 work might not be as helpful as some of the young applicants whom are still personally interested in their career.

Sounds like VPN policy is the last thing you should be worried about... 3) Document management, such as Sharepoint. Gotta agree that another policy isn't exactly effective. Survey says majority of all users do not actually read them and the ones that do forget the details shortly thereafter. So your employees are now liable for damages? What are you going to do? Fire and sue them for the $500 of equity in their home?

    To get your facts straight, the plantation masters never kidnapped anyone...slaves throughout the years have been sold by their own people. In North America, plantation owners didn't cruise over to Africa and enslave anyone. Sadly enough, look into the history of many criminals and you will find their family has roots in slavery, either practice of or practice in.

    1) My motorcycle already does that with 70MPG
    2) My quad core desktop with dual HD4800 video cards still consumes less power than my old 5 year old Pentium desktop
    3) I close the door and vents in my empty rooms
    4) More affordable to have more kids? You've obviously lost it!

    The voltage has nothing to do with it...it's the amperage. You could lick a 100,000 Volt power line if there isn't any amperage while a 5V DC power supply could instantly kill you if it we're putting out 100,000 amps...
