I'm just learning Cocoa, but I do believe that you can write a majority of your code in C++ if you want to. The interface would have to be written in something else (i assume Obj-C or by using Interface Builder), but you can write core components in C++. And as someone else already pointed out, you would probably need to rewrite the interface code anyways, so its not a big deal to rewrite it for each platform.

Do you remember Xcar? It was too realistic, it just wasn't fun. It was technically amazing, but you had to tweak the hell out of your car before it became interesting. Too much realism can take away from gameplay (which is arguably more important).
Ever since I stopped smoking a couple of years back (1/4 pack a day, nothing too serious), I've constantly had a drink by my side. At work, I always have water; In class something (usually coke but sometimes water); when I go eat dinner, I drink constantly and then after being completely sated (and hydrated) I still need to buy a cup of tea to sip on when I go study (only when its really painful do I ignore the cup of tea).
I think its totally due to the fact that I miss smoking. And it easier on my jaws then constantly chewing gum.
There is KIIS FM out of LA. KISS FM Radio 1 (or something like that) out of London. Other "Kisses" are KISX, KISQ, etc. Just drop the last letter when pronouncing it etc. The only KISS (with those actual letters) is in San Antonio (country station right?). All these psuedo KISSes are just Top 40 stations IIRC.

Unless you live in America where we put the month before the date, then its 9/11. Now, you can argue all you want that its more logical to have day/month/year but personally, i prefer month/day/year.
Yeah, Afganistan doesn't have any oil, but it is always nice to institute friendly governments in parts of the world that are close to countries that are rich in oil.
Execpt for the fact that a majority of the Government is in place to protect the profits of American corporations. Don't forget, the real reason we are bombing the hell out of Afganistan is to get another foothold in the region that is so rich with oil. Sure, toppling the Taliban and capturing bin Laden will be icing on the cake, but the oil interests of American Corporations are the real goal.
Your argument is great, execpt for one thing, I got to see a Magic the Gathering Tournament on ESPN2 a few years back. Never say never. Absolute statements are always wrong.
As a student at UCSB, I was lucky enough to hear him speak at (what turned out to be) his final lecture. It was really, really good (obviously) and this interview was done by our school newspaper before the lecture.
I know that doesn't anwer your question, but its some background material about that article (probably one of the last interviews w/ him)
Ha ha, that is exactly why I was incredibilly happy to find a copy of DADOES with that title and no mention of Blade Runner at all (minus one quote like "This is the book that inspired Blade Runner)
I also don't believe that the movie Blade Runner is based on the book DADOES (merely inspired by it)
I know how to weld. Haven't in a few years though.... I actually really miss my welding days. Welding is some of the most fun I had in High School. (Our "Computer Science" course consisted of two programing languages, Basic and qBasic . . . bleh)
Shuji is now a professor at UCSB and is making wonderful advancements in materials engineering. Here's a quick link to whats he's up to recently.h tml.

Just a little more information on this great thinker.
I also got the theme song playing in my head while he is speaking :)

Well, since a '#' symbol is technically called an "Octothorpe", and C# would then be a Coctothorpe . . . then I guess . . . . <mumbles>
Well, I guess this joke really tells itself...
"Yeah, Finals are over. Lets see Blade 2. I want to go watch a movie where my brain doesn't have to work to hard"
"Yeah, no kidding. We can go watch Gossford Park next weekend"
That conversation sum up my feelings on Blade 2. It was perfect in that sense.
But if you encrypt it, and send it in a bunch of random data....
Rochambeau.
Jan-Ken-Pon = = Rochambeau = = Paper-Rock-Scissors

Ah, my bad. I thought you mistyped "Where" meaning "Where the shows were playing"
Hell, I'd give you karma for admitting that you are a karma whore. (if I had the points....)
What? Cowboy Bebop and Lain are leagues ahead of that drivel known as Evangelion.
Now, is there any reason to call everyone a whore right now? : )
Ha ha. Try clicking the link you idiot. Personally I was thinking, hmmm... can't be Lang's movie.. and guess what, it wasn't.
All cheer those who don't know what a link is.
