If it's digital I don't see any problems (except maybe proper lighting unless using an IR camera) but if it has dials I see a problem if it's somewhere between two digits.
There are a few tutorials on the net about image-processing (some very interesting using ANNs[artificial neural networks])
customers: "but we don't want vista. i want my refund i want to buy xp" vendor: "oh my. oops. this exploit code that attacks everything that's not vista or server2008 just got loose. we recommend vista"

I remember when BG came to Romania and presented the (then) new Vista BS in some hospital and it ran soooooooooo sloooooooooow that a doctor asked "It runs kinda slow! What should we do if we need fast access to medical data?" (...) The idea being that maybe Windows 7 will run faster being modular and sht (at least that's what they say)
most of these issues is why when I want to buy something online I just go to the bank and simply transfer money from my safe account (can't be used to buy online) to my unsafe account. Buy the stuff and that's it. You can't buy anything with my card cuz there's nothing on it until I want to buy something. I think one of the banks available here have this system: you have a debit account and virtual account associated with it. You can transfer money between them at any ATM. Sort of like "transferring" money from pocket to hand to buy groceries. Lose the ATM and move to online banking and that's about it. Online banking as far as I know is encrypted (I hope so).
I remember PODbot used to have a settings in config file named something like "AnglesPerFPS" (don't recall exactly). Anyway, I put once 180 in there and boy those guys could shoot. It wasn't even about who shoots first anymore, it was about God's hand on your head giving you time to take 1% health.
Can it tell you "goatse.us" takes you to "http://www.google.ca" (at least in firefox [minefield 3.1b2 to be more precise])
on: so.. after all.. we are slowly moving towards "I, robot". What if a malfunction doesn't remind Jack to take his vital heart medicine? Will the 'bot go to jail? Or to the [specially built for this purpose] 'bot compacter maybe? What if the 'bot compacter is controlled by another 'bot and it lets it get away? And then these "escaped" 'bots gather in secret meetings and plan to take over the cruel world that blames them for a line of code they did not ask for to be put in them? And what if I just STFU and go to bed before I turn this into a nightmare? Thought so..
I'm not gonna use it for one reason: the tabs are above the whole browser interface (back, forward, stop, home, address, search) [which we will call BI].I keep at least 12 tabs (monitoring interfaces, documentation, etc.) and I find it a lot faster and memory efficient to just remember history and current URL and populate the browser interface above with the info than keeping in memory for each tab the whole browser interface [window controls and such]. Forget it. Useless..
Wasting a few hours a month to pay your bills is simply better and safer than waking up one day with an electricity bill in your mailbox that claims you used 3 times more than last month and they're only letting you know they already took your money so.. have a nice day.
I'm not an expert so please ignore (or better.. explain) this if I'm way off but Google adives TTL 1 week when using their GoogleApps mail server. So.. what if I really really want to change my MX after 2 days?:-/
so if my packets don't make it I know why. Not a skeptic but the Internet is already barely holding together and I'm not confident that "nearly as good" routing info can help. Of course if trying 2-3 times using this is still faster than first time hit using the old one then sure, why not?
omg? someone forgot to take the pills this morning. where's the sense of humour? Don't make me hunt you down and take back those points you stole from these funny-reply posters!
that sounds like a good movie plot. Denzel should play my role...
Oh come on. that's easy: if it's there doing something useless/bad for you/your system then it's malware.
maybe they did but you never knew what it was when trying day and night to find a way inside it but never could.
You must be writing on your new computer.
Because you threw the old one out the window when you saw that little harmless innocent typo, right? Riight? Otherwise you wouldn't be post about it.
BTW: I should mention I'm not native english before you throw this one also.

something fishy around here:

vendor: "oh my. oops. this exploit code that attacks everything that's not vista or server2008 just got loose. we recommend vista"
Ok. That's it. Let's go home. batman here just ate all the food and there's nothing left to chew on.

Typical /. reaction to potential danger:
"Hah. Until I don't taste nuclear winter snow I don't believe that's gonna happen'"
Give the man his nuke. He earned it.
alpha mail .. haha .. good one
+1 subtle
I first thought this was about a 2piston Flinstone engine only competition ... *sigh*

It's a distraction to keep the attention away from Mexico where real kidnapping takes place.
Just a (conspiracy saturated) thought ...
of course you can check your e-mail through the plumbing system:
http://www.google.com/tisp/install.html
it's got electrolytes.
