    The electronics usually brake the car, unless it's a Toyota, in which case they don't brake the car since they're broken.

    But what if like, time itself is changing speed, man? How do you know there's "variance" in the frequency of pulses unless you have a non-varying pulse to compare it to? Dude, maybe the pulsar is even keeping perfect time and our clocks are varying wildly!

    Personally my clock says it's exactly 4:20pm.

    Good news! I'm also with Shaw (on their 15down/1up/100GB plan) and I can tell you it's not a real cap. I've hit 500GB on more than one occasion and never heard anything from them.

    When we starting eating lots of fruit, we wound up getting a full allotment of Vitamin C whether or not we synthesized it. This removed the selection pressure that had been preventing mutant genes from spreading in the population.

    As to your second question, if there's a lack of selection pressure for long enough, eventually the gene will die out in the population - just like how a ball at the top of a hill will roll down in the absence of anything keeping it there.

    I have the feeling or worry that my car has been stolen perhaps 10% of the time. To date it hasn't actually happened but if does there would be a 10% chance that I would have "predicted" it in advance.

    There's an awesome young adult's book I had the fortune of reading when I was in elementary school that really clarified this point for me. It's called House of Stairs, by William Sleator. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_of_Stairs_(William_Sleator_novel)

    No, but most of them have a hand to use on the *other* brake.

    Put the e-brake on, get the clutch out to the friction point, then release the e-brake -> no rollback.

    Just be glad that being selected for extra screening.is the only thing up with which you have to put.

    If this were 50 years ago you'd be rounded up and sent off to concentration camps, like we did with the Japanese during WWII. You see how civilized we've become?
