Surprisingly NO-One mentioned CS... COUNTERSTRIKE was big for me. So was Quake2. I loved playing Quake 2 as Chrome Camo MegaMan!!!!! (best of both worlds.)
Finally, Warcraft3. The only game to eat a whole summer. Awesome storyline, beat it normal, and went back and beat it on hard. OMG it took for ever and 1 ms.
oh, yeah, and bbs games BRE, L.O.R.D., Trade Wars, And that RPG one that I can't remember the name of, where you could go and get hookers and stuff..
Soon if you donate food you will be responsible to make sure that the can of food has no microscopic pinholes that could have caused the food to spoil.
Donating money to your favorite charity may soon be a terrorist act if there is a terrorist person who benefits from such charity.
Even worse:
If your car is broken into, you are now responsible for finding the thief (you pretty much are by the way...) and paying the police department to run fingerprint analysis. Secondly if the terrorist sells your stereo and obtains money used for a terrorist action by selling your stereo, you are now a terrorist!

As an amature pyrotechnician I have built things that are suposed to catch fire, but never anything that wasn't suposed to catch fire and did. The good thing about that is It's easy to get good results. 8')

Lol, seriously though. I think that the U.S. is going the way that those far out religious books claim: There will be one unified nation, war will rage accross the planet, and Pr0n will no longer be free, etc. etc. I hate those books..
perhaps, but the cheaper eficiancy will cost more. A hybrid prius is 6** a month on a three year loan. This is an astronomical price for a poor/lower middle class person to pay.
Thats not what my econ teacher taught me. You can't sell 10 engines and then count on doubling fuel expense. That model would assume that all ten people drive the same distance to work, or have the same driving habits/style.
Assuming that they did drive the same, you can't just cut fuel economy in half and expect to sell more engines. That would assume that everyone would buy a brand new car just because of fuel economy.
And even if you did assume that people would buy twice as many cars if fuel was cut in half, then the actual emmisions would decrease as people would be giving up their smog causing cars for more efficient, and ecological ones.

Someone made a Unreal Tournament capture the flag map titled cola wars. Coke for red flag. Pepsi for blue flag. One of the best maps I have played! Lots of fun (p.s. I play that map as blue)
Unreal 2 and UT2, are going to be awesome games. There has been many beutiful screenshots from epic, as well as interviews. U2 should be out by the end of this (or maybe 2nd? I forgot) quarter, and UT@ by September.
As good as The movie was(and I think it is one of the best movies I have seen), I don't think that article was worth submission due to the fact that Lotr wasn't even the main subject of the article.
I mean the article summary mentioned "the Rings" , and the Heading of the article mentioned "The Rings", however the article was describing the awards and who won them.
Please don't get me wrong. The movie rocked, but I feel that slashdot is feeding the LOTR Comercialism. (sp?)
Friday night I was playing UT after work and the weirdest thing happened. There I was siting all by my self in the office, and BOOM! I WAS IN THE ZONE. Faces, low grave, 50% falling control. I got like ten flags in a game with over 15 people, and killed everyone in my path. IT WAS SWEET. p.s. I love that game
