The funny thing is that ubuntu requires it when you change somethign dramatically on your computer/settings, and vista requires it for everything, including but not limited to: firefox addons, running an updater, opening a package from an unknown source (aka usb-stick). If i had gotten a nickle every time i had to put a file onto my brother's pc and run it then click ok on the UAC, i'd be rich by now.

of games that i think are not worth the money. I have my good old version of unreal tournament and unreal tournament 2004, i still play both. They stay fun. I have not pirated the newest version (ut 3) but when the time coems that it finally drops into a decent price (like 20-30$) i'll just go out and buy. Games that are worth the money simply don't get pirated. I even pirate movies, and the movies that actually are a hit to me always end up legally in my dvd-storage. As for DRM, i outright hate it. Basic things like a serial are fine for me, but let's take doom 3 for an example. The first few times i joined an online server, i got bored quickly and went for a new server. "key already in use" - game crash. When i restarted the game i had the joy of typing in my key again. Great. IF you use a key as means of protecting, it doesn't require a cd/dvd, it's at a fair price and it's a good game, then noone will pirate it, or, if they pirate it they will probably have a legal version sitting in their shelf anyway. Lastly games are supposed to have good gameplay, these days developers are edging towards the insanity of graphics. I for one don't follow this trend - instead i play the gameplay-oriented games.

Same here. i have two old computers for people who know squat about IT. The xp hadn't been reinstalled for 8 years or so and i didn't want them to use na illegal version (they have the habit of pressing "update now"). Thus ubuntu went onto it. Even they got used to it.

I disagree, vista may work fine on your computer but it works VERY poor on the machines made to "be capable" of running vista. I think the biggest mistake of mcirosoft was to FORCE people into using vista, instead of giving them the opportunity and slowly adapting. They took away OEM xp's, so now everyone who's looking for a cheap pc (in other words; not capable of vista, or barely) are stuck with vista.

It should have been concealed in a room, "thinking" there are targets, ad make it "think" there are allies near too. Then you could let him loose to actually see if it would fire on allies. It's possible that the creators had a huge bug in the aiming script, making it aim on allies and enemies alike, but only actually firing on enemies. Small details like that are important. I doubt it WILL have that much use, unless game developers make their games over 10x as big or some kind of BD-RW comes out.
