I see this very often around here, but people don't seem to know that large parts of the OS on those phones are closed binary blobs - mainly the drivers, and parts of the UI and the bundled apps.
Not exactly an open phone, I'm afraid.
http://www.adel.nursat.kz/apg/Automated Password Generator can generate very nice, pronouncable, but still pretty secure passwords. Add a few punctuation characters, and you have a strong password that is fairly easy to remember.
An example of the output:
me@host:~$ apg
Please enter some random data (only first 8 are significant) (eg. your old password):> Bachmebjij8 (Bach-meb-jij-EIGHT) 7Knipwoi (SEVEN-Knip-woi) gruemUnrod2 (gruem-Un-rod-TWO) MaHiopt1 (Ma-Hi-opt-ONE) RidHynEbr8Or (Rid-Hyn-Ebr-EIGHT-Or) AfnoHoorfid9 (Af-no-Hoorf-id-NINE)
Have you heard about the 'Snapping Windows' plugin for Compiz? You can have that instead of Wobbly Windows and have them snap to each other and the screen edges.
Well it's still a lot better than certain countries, for instance Serbia, where the FASTEST broadband connection you can get is only 2Mbit ADSL with an uplink of 196kbps.
They are probably worried about piracy, hence the weak uplink, but for about $70 a month one would expect a decent connection in a country that is supposedly heading for the EU in a few years...
You can take any linux-compatible desktop machine, you go and develop the application that controls the spaceship or something, and you don't need an emulator because you can test it right on your development machine.
Then when it's ready, you just move the application over to the 'cube' and it's off you go.
It's much simpler than developing for and emulator or similar, you don't need to jump that many hoops before deployment.

It actually exists: PDF JS is a Javascript-based PDF decoder in development.
Serbia did this several times to Bill Clinton! You can see how effective that was.
Just... wow... goatse in 2011? Are you a time traveler from 1999?

As a Serbian I can assure you there are lots of Feta products that are really declared as Feta.
For example: http://www.mlekara.co.rs/downloads/grekos-oglas%20mama.jpg

Titfishing... mmmmm...
Cigarettes? Tampons?
I bet there are gazillions of other examples. Strange how short-sighted this statement is.
Finally, I'll have a legitimate reason to slack off and not do my job...
On the other hand, how am I going to procastinate without the internet?

My personal website doesn't have any banner, I have to pay for hosting from my own pockets (and I haven't updated the damn thing in months either).
Maddox, is that you?
Yes, then just plug in a site of another Microsoft competitor, namely Google... Sir, I salute you!

I am personally waiting for USB 3.11 for Workgroups to come out before upgrading.
named Micah, touching and caressing the voting machine, while empathically closing his eyes...
How would they do that without the administrator password?
20 years in C++? It was standardized 10 years ago... I wouldn't think it was that heavily used before that.
