I have small hands and my Galaxy S2 is very easy to use one handed.
I must be doing something wrong to be able to use the phone that is the wrong width for the human hand so easily.
Yep, I've successfully run Skyrim and New Vegas, but NV is a bit slow and Skyrim is fine at first but quickly turns into a slideshow, as compared to my Win 7 partition where it's flawless:/
Mind you, I did it out of the box (it's amazing it worked just like that) so it could simply need some extra config. I'll give PlayOnLinux a shot.
Definitely agreed. The biggest thing about Steam going to Linux is the exposure for the platform and the interest it generates. This may help to spur on WINE development even more.
When I can play Skyrim, New Vegas and Rocksmith flawlessly in WINE I'm not looking back.
I remember way back when I bought PC Gamer there was a letter to the mag complaining about FEAR's frequent swearing. They agreed with him too. I guess sex and swearing is far more deplorable than the cannibalism, dismemberment and showers of blood in that game..
It isn't about getting ready of the whacky.. It's about getting rid of the stale. Japanese themes don't worry us at all. That's all superficial and as he said the superficial changes (blue eyed, blonde haired characters, Western themes) did bugger all.
When it comes to RPGs (as an example genre), Western gamers lap up the open world games such as Morrowind and Oblivion. The Japanese probably love these games as well, but the developers are stuck in the rut of crafting Street Fighter, Tekken and DOA games with the same formula over and over again.
Final Fantasy is still basically the same formula as well, with a bit of experimentation to do with class changing now and then.
I'm not saying that there aren't plenty of Western developers aren't stuck in the same rut and there are certainly fun, novel games that come out of Japan (like Katamari). Just my $0.05
Seriously, though. Reading TFA (I know I know) it is somewhat comforting to know that Bioware dudes are going to be involved. I'd prefer to know if their writers were in on it, though. Hell, Mass Effect blew my mind with its cinematic integrity.
Will it get the Hollywood treatment and everything we know and love about it is raped and murdered before our eyes? Yeah, probably. But who knows, 300 and Watchmen were pretty faithful adaptations and maybe we won't have Johnny Fucking Depp or Robert Downey Jr playing Commander Shepard.
I know exactly what you mean when it comes to Amarok. The layout in particular annoyed me. I'd follow instructions to give a similar appearance in Amarok 2, but even with it looking like 1.4, it didn't have the same functionality (clicking a column title to sort, for example).
I've been using MPD for awhile now, but recently I stumbled on Clementine which is a fork of Amarok 1.4. It's still very young, but is usable and looking good so far.
Any illegal aliens that come along with the spacerocks will be placed in Woomera Detention Centre for at least six months and then blasted back into outer space while the whales cry for them.
I lost all faith in FEMA when they put Walton Simons in charge.

Personally I think KDE is the one that is actually making the real advances. I think I really noticed this when they reinvented the desktop where everything is a plasmoid, instead of the desktop simply being a dumping ground.
I guess it isn't technically illegal because while the commercial whaling is banned, they use legal loopholes to do it with the whole killing for research for eating.

Inform yourself. If you want to dismiss them as crazies afterward, then fine.
They support a group which is battling Japan's illegal whaling. Sure, I don't dig some of Sea Sheperd's actions, but there is far more to the Greens than the environmentalism.
While they're the only ones who would actually go through with cutting down emissions, their other policies are far more grounded in (secular) morality than either of the two major parties and they are against the filter.
250% less evil than the ALP or Libs.

Too bad this didn't happen with Blizzard after Diablo 3 as well. Fuck this always-online NWO bullshit.

My Model M doesn't have a Windows key, you insensitive clod!
Gorillas have far larger canines than we do. They don't eat meat. They use them for crunching bamboo and piercing fruit.
It's a perfectly cromulent word.
Wait... So all those hipsters with the phony glasses I meet are secretly recording me? Jesus Christ.

And why is this troll?
I have no idea where they'd get that from. Everyone knows they're called harddrives.

I'm in the middle of some calibrations.

of the age of Aquarius!
I've wanted an Audacious Aardvaark for a long time. They've already repeated letters before anyway (Hedgehog/Herron)
