    I suspect many if not most psychologists study psychology to find an answer to their own mental health problems.

    Which is why in every one of my psychology classes on day one they tell you 3 times in a row. "Do NOT self diagnose." They also mention that these are RARE and EXTREME cases and not to be taken lightly. Otherwise you will think you and everyone you know are full blown psychopaths.

    I didn't see anything in the article that tells exactly how the science behind it works. Is it granulated particles? Normal sponge sized? Fiberglass like? How are the toxins removed from the material after use? etc. I assume some of it they might not be able to divulge due to pending patents or whatever, but a little more info might help to determine if it's viable or just vaporware.

    Yes I am aware. However systems with Norton pre-installed tend to have several other programs by Symantec that also bog down the system horribly.

    I know you are joking but there's actually something called photobiomodulation that has been shown to prevent blinding by methanol poisoning and speed up healing (I believe at the same vibration rate as a cat purring).

    Replace with any decent free antivirus. Easily increases performance by a metric fuckton.

    Downloading whatever you feel like just to list on your ipod is completely legal in the US. UPLOADING the copywritten files is illegal and infringement of copyrights. This is a very important difference that the RIAA doesn't want you to realize.

    You know what else affects them indirectly? Working for a douchebag company that treats their customer base like criminals, which leads the customers into being "criminals," which makes the customers "pirates," which leads to their game not being bought, which leads to the studio closing (heresay), which leads to them losing their jobs.

    That was fun. I like this game. It's certainly more fun than a lot of the crap EA has been putting out.

    There's your problem right there. The keyboard and mouse are way more responsive than any controller. (again, like others have stated, once you turn the in game vsync off the gameplay is perfectly fine)

    Had a secretary at my first job with a similar problem. Reasons for "The computer is broken!":
    1.) forgot to turn monitor on.
    2.) didn't press power button on desktop
    3.) kicked monitor plug near the power strip pulling it out of back of monitor.
    4.) stepping on power strip rocker switch.
    5.) somehow put the entire OS in dutch.

    In this regard, AdBlock makes a significant difference if you tell it to not download ads at all

    How do you do this? I cannot for the life of me find this in the preferences. I know it doesn't show the ads but if I can just deny any chance for it to even try to access the ad servers it would greatly speed up my browsing.

    I really hope this allows a much smoother experience. I like the storage size and versatility of my Archos 5 but the firmware is buggy as hell. The updates almost never fix anything useful. I even like the way the menus are laid out. I just wish the damn thing would work properly more often. My two major issues with the Archos 5 was the buggy firmware and the short wifi range (well that and the stuck pixel in the middle of the screen). If a software update fixes both I'd be ecstatic.

    Come on guys, anyone that's played a space sim before knows you don't put guns on the merchant ship. You hire escort ships (that are far more agile than a cargo ship) to guard the merchant ship on it's route. Then when you have to dock to unload the goods, the armed ships stay out of the range of the port so the problems with guns in the port is a non-issue. What's more costly? Losing money to ransom to get your ship back or paying a few escorts to guide your ship to safety?

    Do they not realize that dust is about 90% human skin and bacteria? They are already being exposed to biohazard from the dust and the microbes on the keyboard and case. It should be a standard company procedure to take proper precautions against this regardless of the owner's habits.

    Are they comparing all netbooks to all laptops? Is this a hardware failure rate or software/os failure rate? Are they comparing SSDs to HDDs? Price ranges? Are these "sent back for repair" rates or "actually needed repairs" rates? At least they did mention that netbooks are new to the field so at least some of it is understandable there. Whenever percentages and statistics get thrown around I get very leery about the interpretation of the results. Lies, damn lies, statistics, etc.

    And this is why we need to diversify our energy production. There are other radioactive sources we can use as fuel. Thorium, plutonium, and other nuclear 'waste' can still be used as long as we build reactors for them.
