    As a pharmacist I'm well acquainted with "name brand" vs "generic" brands. The FDA regulates generic drugs so that they will have the same therapeutic profile of the name brand. I'm sure that there are generic inks that are just as good as some name brands, but we as consumers are a little in the dark as to which generics are "just as good"

    It's a little like buying an OS versus Open Source. You want to pay for a marginal increase in ease of use, well that's what you do.

    Well there are these little known facts:

    Printer ink also cures arthritis, lumbago, shingles, female "troubles" and impotency. It will also reverse aging.

    As one of the retired people out there, I can.

    In the small print Price is FROM $49,000, depending on the battery pack chosen. Only the larger battery pack gets the 300 mile range and that's more like $57,000 WITH the tax credit. I'll keep my Jetta TDI with a combined mileage of 35 MPG, and still feel superior for far less money. If worst comes to worst, I'll convert it to run on Bio-Diesel and feel even better

    Haven't bought into phony Apple mania, never will. I will take a look at this. iTunes really sucks even compared to Zune software. All I want is a phone that will let me add all my music, DRM'd or not.

    My son has an iPhone and he tells me that he gets dropped calls all the time. Once the same call was dropped 4 times and this is in NY City, cell phone towers everywhere. In fact that was the precise reason I didn't buy one.

    I know that current models show that the brief moments after the BB (relatively speaking), that they had the universe expanding at FTL speeds. But I never understood how on the one hand, Physicists says that nothing can go FTL, and then say the first bit of time after the BB, things were going FTL.

    The big bang occurred about 1 femtosecond before "let there be light"

    From just a UI point of view WebOS is a better choice than both of those for a tablet. So maybe it will be a good alternative to both.

    Don't think so. Let's be real. The reason that most people choose Apple is the apps (8 billion served) They aren't too concerned about how incrementally better the OS is. Apple isn'tr the best, but the consumers don't care because it the most advertised, and does what they want to do
