That is Alpha Ceti, not Tau Ceti..... different star systems. None the less, it is the same constellation (Cetus the Whale), thus in the same general direction in the sky from the Earth.
You must be accidentally hitting it every time you pinch to zoom in or something. It isn't always on for me and zooming in and out while turning (either the phone in my hand or my whole body) doesn't turn it on. I have to actually hit the arrow icon in the bottom left corner to turn it on and off.
Maybe they changed it after I stopped playing but when I played it never seemed to draw aggro. I used to stand in the middle of combat next to the tank, healing the team and never took a hit...ever.
In WoW I could stand half way across the room, pull a single heal and watch the mobs decide I was the better target than the guy pounding on them. Long cast times, and too much aggro made being a healer in WoW not fun at all.
Played it years ago. Loved it. It spoiled me for when I then went to see what WoW was all about. CoH was light years ahead of WoW in every aspect from character creation, to UI, to game play. Loved playing a healer in CoH. Tried one in WoW and absolutely hated it. Here's a hint Blizzard...the act of healing should NOT draw aggro.
I find the web accessibility part the best. That way when I'm in a bookstore I can check and see if: 1) I already have the book in my library 2) What books I need to complete a series by a particular author
Honestly, the best way to catch the cheaters is to test them. If they aren't doing the work, they aren't learning the steps. So hold a few tests throughout the term and make the tests worth more than the assignments. Show them, not give them but show them on an overhead projector or using a large photo, the end result that is required. They have 30 minutes to produce it.
There's a dipshit living in an apartment building on my street that points a laser at people out walking at night. Not sure if it's a kid or adult 'cause I'm not turning around to look when I see the little dot dancing across the sidewalk in front of me and my dog. And I keep my head down when I have to walk towards the building not knowing if the jackass is shining it at people that night or not.
I haven't upgraded to iOS 6 yet, so I still have the Google Maps app on my iPhone. The article says Google wanted in app branding. The app already has that. It says Google in the bottom left corner of the map after you launch the app. What more branding did Google want?
By abandon do you mean rolling out an all electric RAV4?
Sure, they're dropping one line of car, their little eQ minicar. But that doesn't mean they are dropping electric all together. They've just realized that the technology isn't there quite there yet. And they are planning on having 21 hybrid versions of their vehicles by 2015.
In other words they moved too fast on the all electric cars for some markets and are backing off for now until the technology catches up with the ideas.
I would go farther and say that the author is not necessarily the end authority on their own work.
If they took Roth as a primary source and allowed his words to be stated as unreferenced facts, they would need to take Whitley Strieber as a primary source when he says he was actually kidnapped by aliens.
Roth was refuting claims made by reviewers of his book that Wikipedia was quoting. Reviewers that wrote reviews that were nothing more than their own opinion's on Roth's works. What secondary sources of the reviews did Wikipedia have? None. Just the reviews themselves. So Wikipedia took the reviewers at their own words on the motivation behind the book (no facts just their own written reviews) but would not accept the author's? That's completely asinine.
As for Strieber if he believes he was abducted by aliens and this was the motivation for his books, who the hell is Wikipedia to say any different? That if anything points to exactly what is wrong with Wikipedia. They have their own agenda. Their own twist on things. Truth be damned.
Article claims backlit as well. "But first, Bezos showed off a new version of the Kindle e-reader, the Kindle Paperwhite, complete with a backlit, higher-resolution screen (221 pixels-per-inch and 25 percent more contrast, according to Amazon). "
Has anyone on Slashdot actually seen one? Is it front-lit or back-lit?

No, that's Ceti Alpha.

So long CoH and thanks for all the years of fun.

Where in the bible does it say an rfid tag is the mark of the beast?

Too bad your web search didn't lead you to http://librarything.com/

Make him executive producer, creative consultant or whatever. But for fark's sake DO NOT LET HIM WRITE ANY DIALOGUE.
Does he even deserve to be called a Star Trek captain?
Well he's more of a Star Trek captain than COMMANDER Sisko.
I doubt it will produce anything useful for anything more complicated than, "Hello. How may I help you?"
Ever use Google translate for Japanese -> English or English -> Japanese ? Word salad is typically the result.
This piece of shit sold out my country for a lousy $3000 a month?
Why would I torrent something then pay to watch it?
Hell, why would I even torrent something? There are faster ways to get the content and I laugh at your pathetic "torrent".

Wouldn't surprise me. He's making 3 movies out of it. How much extraneous crap is Jackson cramming into the story in order to get 3 movies?
Also, I heard Legolas is in this. God.

Too bad governments over here don't force students in useless arts, latin, and philosophy degrees to do the same.

Exactly this.
WoW is grindy. Keep running those instances to get that one specific drop.
CoH was never grindy.
I mean I never have even seen, smelled, or eaten anything with maple syrup.
If you said you didn't like it, I could accept that. But not so much as seen it? Where does one live to avoid all contact whatsoever with maple syrup?
cheesybagel obviously lives in another dimension.
