could be Microsoft. I guess most automakers have given up on Microsoft Connected Vehicle Platform.
Are there any car manufacturers that makes a non-connected just plain, regular car currently?
I'd prefer a standard transmission, maybe a couple USB ports, AC and no OnStar, No built-in cellular, no computers for anything more than controlling fuel injection...
If you block access to Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Telegram, the people of your country may come out of their Internet induced comas, and have the time and energy to realize they should create a better country.
Thank goodness that would never happen in the U.S./s
Local electric providers around me have sent out a couple offers towards the purchase of a (I assume new) EV. Rebates and other incentives are available.
Of course if you got the full Federal tax credit on top of it all, it ended up quite good, considering the cost the of Nissan Leaf was only 23K.
I'm surprised Tesla didn't raise the price instead. There is a waiting list, so you could consider their products as high in demand, low in supply.
Really? Then why do I have such a strong preference for it vs Chrome, and why is Firefox my primary browser?
Running a bunch of good and essential Firefox extensions. They told us the sky would fall when the old leaky extension APIs were removed, and it did not.
Instead, we have a leaky browser, I have to constantly clean the cache because once it hits 1GB, Firefox tends to run very poorly. The last version I had set to auto-clean at about 350MB.
Firefox has totally lost it's way, Chrome sucks, and I don't have any windows or apple systems to compare how IE/Edge/Safari compare.
Once there is sufficient money behind this, I'll buy a couple buildings, move in a few thousand H-1B remote workers, and charge them California rates of rent.
I can probably fit 20-30 of them in a 2 bedroom apartment./s
your update quality control seems to be approaching Microsoft levels.
If Jobs was still around, there would be no Christmas for any employees until this was fixed, and there would probably be some people thrown out of windows as part of their separation package.
> If you look (in season) most people live close to a local farmers market. Their prices are usually much lower than local stores.
Huh? I've been to many of the farmer markets and prices there are higher than at grocery stores, but the produce is better too. Well-off people typically go to those (observation based on what cars they come in) to get the best stuff like the best tomatoes vs what awful tasteless red stuff they sell at the grocery stores (even Whole Foods).

The two local farm markets I go to price things differently, but other than organic chicken eggs, ($3.00 a dozen) all the fruits and vegetables are about 1/4 to 1/3 of the price of similar wares at (chain) grocery stores. I still can't find anyone who grows celery though.
These are of course farm markets that grow their own goods. If you have a large family, there are also some very good Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) groups that will sell you enormous piles of food.
There are other markets that buy off a loading dock and re-sell the goods. Their prices are much higher, and the quality can range on the dubious.
isn't really that good. Family Dollar is a good example of this. Their canned beans are pretty cheap (unless you buy bulk dried beans) The Dollar smaller packages, or charges more for items than local stores.
If you look (in season) most people live close to a local farmers market. Their prices are usually much lower than local stores. Dollar stores in general don't have anything fresh that I've ever seen.
As far as things like meat, I don't think I've seen anything except hot dogs or canned chicken in the dollar stores.
Finally if you're financially constrained (receiving social services support), you don't get much "fresh" food from food banks, more government cheese. maybe some honey or rice.
I do some shopping at wal-mart, mostly buying their loss leaders, like their giant jars of pickles, never anything in the Meat Department because their prices and quality are not up to par with other local stores.
more, paid by Kansas, there are a couple of companies willing to take 2+ year old electronic scrap away.
As soon as they accepted delivery, the equipment had probably lost 1/2 it's value, so following Generally Accepted Accounting Practices, they should have depreciated the value of most of this junk already.

Well Intel literally paid OEM's to not offer AMD chips, and they still increase the amount of "reimbursements" they give to companies based on how many non-Intel chips they sell.

Clearly, they have no idea about when people want snacks.
I'd like to order a 2 liter diet coke please SnackBot.

Welcome to your future job. The annoyance is slightly alleviated because you're paid to stare at a screen all day.
What school won't prepare you for is endless hours of pointless meetings, and political machinations that have no basis in reality.

So how long until corporate exploiters destroy it for profit, as retarded-growth-economic paradigms dictate as the only suitable outcome?

As far as destroying Mars for profit, it's way closer than Earth to the asteroid belt which is much more useful for raw materials.
