I used Lynx for my Linksys router once. It's not too bad. I tried the D-Link once, but like you experienced, I had trouble so switched to a IE capable PC.
They will die, I see no doubt in that fact. Cell phone towers are popping up everywhere. On vacation to my hometown just this past week I recall seeing 6 cell towers that were built in the 3 years since I moved away from that area.
Reception may be a problem in some areas, but I'd say it's rapidly improving.
Sure, tell me where I can get a firewire printer. Or a palm cradle. Or an optical mouse.
"People" buy what is on the market. It's not people's fault, blame motherboard manufacturers.
I have an Audigy soundcard, and look forward to using the Firewire port, unfortunately I have nothing that uses it yet. Although DLink makes a really nice looking FW webcam.. May check into it.
I have a feeling that will change with newer episodes. I kind of got the idea from the first show that it was just that one planet that was "Hillbilly" and the rest will change. We'll see, I for one will keep watching it.
Of course, I did fall asleep after 25 minutes of the show.. But not because it sucked! I was dead tired =/
There is a good reason, my boss pays me to get the job done quickly, and Samba installed within 10 minutes.
My boss likes money, you see. There hasn't been a problem with Samba yet, so if he can save the time for me to read the manuals for (insert unknown network system here) then that is money in his pocket.
As far as home.. I copy a few files now and then. I really don't care if it's more efficient. Horribly inferior or not, what advantages would MARS give me?
Who ever said that the only thing you'll use in real life is exactly what you learned in college?
What I mean is.. What was to stop your friend from learning the extra languages necessary to find a job?
I think schools should teach you how to learn. Not exact skills to use. Skills become outdated. But if you know how to teach yourself, then you can do anything.
I've bought AMD since the K6/2, but with the money I saved on the chip, I've probably spent twice as much on my electritiy bills with my Socket-A bohemoth then if I'd bought Intel.
The newer chips are much better, but Intel has still got them on heat/power.
With chips as fast as they are, I wish they'd spend a product cycle making the same speed chip *cooler*, Again.
The most recent, not exactly the "first".
Mark, I was just about to post the EXACT same post =)
I Wanna picture dangit!

It reads 800K's just fine! Where've you been, under a rock? =)
that was an April Fool's joke. ;)
Read the article. It's not a drive, you hook a drive TO it. It allows you to read/write different formats.
Here's the google cache, although it doesn't say much without the pictures..

Forge a longsword +3, hopefully you got yourself some admantium there..
The president had nothing to do with it. I doubt if he even knew of it.
Not to mention it was a different president at the time.

He says in the interview that child pornagraphy is compared against a database of known "originals".
Couldn't we demand that this guy be busted for it? He is not a government agency, he should be able to be held liable for possession, am I wrong?

You can't even create an account and log in, your opinion is shit.
The tickets are good and all, but the "unreleased music"...
Won't that just be pirated?
Anyway, good to see them get the ball rolling on something other than hiring more lawyers.
Was it worth doing what you did for the mostly anonymous recognition you recieved?
Sure, do you really expect them to pay for your 5 gigs of downloads per day? Resources are limited you know.

Code Red is over a year old (Hit in August if I remember correctly) And I still get hit to this day.
We shall see how long this lasts, but I doubt it'll be half as long before the SSL exploit is upgraded out of existance.
I believe that would be open SORES.
Low cost? We're talking government projects here..
And why does it have to be electrical? What was so bad about the older machines?
Thank you for the link, it spelled things out in clear terms.
You bring up a valid point.
