As a traveler from the US, I agree. Faster overseas.
I think that US CC issuers failed to set a standard for horsepower to process the chip. Both big and small companies bought the cheapest ones possible. Local University Parking office... dog ass slow. Local Liquor store... faster than the parking office, but slow. Ralphs, fast, but they waited a little while to bring them back. CVS... not fast, but passable.
actually, sendmail rules are better than procmail.
Only thing is that they say "the electronic message 11 may take on a variety of data formats including digital formats, voice data, dual tone multi-frequency (DTMF) tones, or the like"

Big question: if a boss screams, does the IT staff come running and spend hours fixing the guys mouse, or latest windows UI gizmo the boss installed?
Basically, have the bosses been slow to notice because they have personalized IT staff?
At my last place, the higher ups thought a person who left was god, because he would come up and fix things for thier workstations. As Head of Systems, he'd spend a morning fixing a PC, or installing a new widget for the IT head. Not that any of the servers could have been better configured, managed, etc. or more importantly, better documented.
Organization was partially because the PC group lack competency in mananaging a large group of workstations, and it grew separated from systems. Main problem, communication. What worked for a single higher up PC, failed in a managed group. When the head of sys got sent to work with the PC group, he flopped. No communication, so no experience fixing things on the managed workgroups.
Exit interviews. Evaluate who left, where they are, and who is left, and why have they not left, and ask are they incompetent? or overworked?
Anyone got any suggestions for webmail replacments for silkymail?
The webclient, silkymail, was also by cyrusoft. Looks like it was based on IMP. well, guess some admin is going to have to download the dependencies and build it themselves, rather than a single package.
And they are not doing good science unless they do the two independent observations method, get thier false negatives and positivies, refine the criteria, and rinse, repeat.
And teach people how to abstract connection information in a separate page.
A whole bunch of items are about to break beacuse people need to use mysqli. It would have been nicer if all these hacks used some db abstraction layer.
And anyone who has had to update some pages a newbie built, will say please learn to abstract the connection information into a single page, not one connection per page.
The electronic keys from Mercedes are a good example of this done right. The key has an IR transceiver at it's head that exchanges one time codes with the car when the driver begins turning it. The received code is saved for next time....
confused? info is save for next time. What happens when a different key is user.
aka What happens when person A uses car with key A, then person B uses car with Key B,
is person B locked out?
Deformation is being modeled with techniques recently developed. Maximum of 20 meters of slip on the fault plane. They did not mention the dimensions of the plane yet, but it is likely to be 100's km long, but 10's wide along the subduction zone.
I would expect that some portions of the Indonesian coast went down, and will be permanently flooded. Other portions went up.
These will be the portions where navigation is effected (get out those proposals to to hydrographic surveying;)
In Alaska and Peru, the subsidence was 2-3 meters in places, and the uplift was up to 10 at faults with surface rupture.

What they are saying is belief is the basis for guilt.
He's said never failed a test.
20% of the people believe that Obama is a Muslim, so he must be.
So like the a women in the GOP, he's screwed.
They say HTML in the patent.... who know what a well thinking judge will think of a SGML derivative like HTML
MS is not on the list... so one assumes that they are some type of agreement in place.
I'm just assuming that the developers who use MS products, would get some type of protection... Isn't that what MS has always said.
Indemnity, please.

That way you can say, "A copy of the file the lawsuit alleges was never downloaded from my computer"
It possibly a scam... SD Union has questioned the background of the company.6 08-9999-1b8cat.html

CRITCAL/STOPPER... This is a stopper for adoption.
Personally, real bad.
You cannot drag and drop to the start of a line, nor can you paste at the start of a line.
Steps:
- copy something
- paste in a new line - works
- now go to start of line, paste, does not work.

10.3 mail.app looks for new mail in the various directories for my imap account (where mail is forwarded by procmail).
If you need full synchronization, then set it in the account preferences page, aka synchronize automatically.
As for thunderbird, this is done on a per-directory basis.
Universities have cell phone users
cell phone users need cell sites
cell phone companies pay money to let people house their cell sites.
so cell sites generate cash. Only problem is that cash probably does not go into telecommunications, and that that cow is more of a calf.

If it's that important to you, you can get an adapter.
