The carrier pigeon is not a practical replacement for a high speed link. For one the latency is quite high compared to DSL. Also it may be less secure since it is using a wireless solution.

Listen, are you gonna have those TPS reports for us this afternoon? Peter Gibbons: No. Bill Lumbergh: Ah. Well then I suppose we should go ahead and have a little talk. Peter Gibbons: Not right now Lumbergh, I'm kinda busy. You know what, in fact I'm gonna have to ask you to just go ahead and come back later, I've got a meeting with the Bobs in a couple minutes. Bill Lumbergh: I wasn't aware of a meeting with them. Peter Gibbons: Yeah, they called me at home.
your flight will be delayed. expect it. seasoned travellers know delays are common and should be expected. expecting to get there at the scheduled time is unrealistic. always leave large buffers. always expect delays and be pleasantly surprised if there are none.
Saturday night they issued a statement claiming that Friedman had been fired. Everyone nodded their heads and went back about their business. Now though, the situation is suddenly much less clear.

Not sure how Sweden has their court system setup, but this whole thing just seemed very unprofessional from both sides.
This is how I see them doing it:
Currently they simply forward any infringment notice from MPAA/RIAA (sent from mediasentry or whoever) on to the subscriber and then wipe their hands.
