    I lived in Bangkok , Thailand for 4 years a long time ago.
    Thailand is a Constitutional Monarchy, but it is ruled by
    a Military group. There have been dozens of bloodless coups
    over the years.

    There IS NO FORCING THEIR WAY TO POWER, the various Military
    people take TURNS running the government. Hence the bloodless
    coups. Pull your head out of your asses and learn about what
    you speak about.

    Thailand is always taking the 'conservative' position to help
    impress other countries. Such is life in the real world.

    too many of their 'certified' people be nothing more than paper tigers. They have
    a piece of paper and that is all.

IF I am a public figure, I have no right or expectation to privacyy. Should I not be a public figure, or person of note, Then I OWN MY IMAGE and you need a release to publish.

    With a rebel yell, we screamed more, more, more.

    Customers will ALWAYS want more speed and bandwidth. This
    is ALL the Cable and DSL providers actually sell. Bandwidth.

    Sure , some attempt to provide "content", but we all know
    how lame ISP/CABLE/Telco webpages are.

    These providers need to seriously upgrade THEIR infrastructure
    to accomodate what people want...more bandwidth. Upgrade the DSLAM's
    and copper/cable connections.

    They all talk about how cool it will be to grab streaming(Put your fave
    here) content, 24/7. Then they try to penalize you for actually taking
    them at their word. The pipe that handles XXX Bps download, can handle
    the same XXX Bps upload.

    They also need to understand that many of us want to run servers. This
    is not rocket science.

    What I meant by wait a few years, was that the old monopoly would be back.
    Yes, what you have stated is correct. Since there are still more telcos
    out there, that, if you wait, they will disappear also.

    Fining them to death is the best way. Removing their license, merely allows one of their cronies
    to aquire the same frequency and start all over. Take the money out of the business with MEGA fines.

    The FCC board of commissioners are appointed, in this case by BUSH. The same with the SEC(security and Exchange Commission)
    and look what they allowed to happen, the re-emergence of the Bell(AT&T) monopoly. Just wait a few years and they will be
    back as the only telco.

    What makes you think Bush appointees are anything but Bush puppet/sympathizers/co-conspirators?

    of materials , the labor, etc,. would not be feasible.

    Water - several million tons of salt-free water for the construction
    Water - ditto for the colonists

    Engines, superstructure and ALL they entail - Trillions of dollars
    Sheilding - Several trillion more
    Life support - this has not been fixed - see ISS

    I cannot, for the life of me understand this, when there
    are so many video based chat sites on the net.

    All the deaf people I know have PC's. I met my first
    deaf friend on the old BBS's. In the text messages on
    FIDOnet.

    I would not want a deaf user signing while driving :P
