    Maximum efficiency of a solar panel is achieved when it is black (harvesting all visible light frequencies, and possibly UV/IR), so I don't see the point of making a yellow panels because we found yellow hornets.

    Just take with you a wallet with only coins in it (aka "coin purse"). It has the following advantages:
    - It does shrink in size as you run out of money
    - It also decreases in mass as you run out of money.
    - It limits the types of money you will be spending. For example, you won't be going out for dinner with coins, thus eliminating your optional expenditures altogether.


    Also, limit your monthly withdrawal to $500 from chequing and $1500 from savings. If your bank doesn't allow you, switch banks.

    - write failures, not just read failures, count as a failure,

    Then SSDs are of shorter lifespan.

    1) It was not flamebait, but with emphasis on USA's resource consumption
    2) My comment does not specify methods of death, so no war is quite needed to reduce the American population (for minimal impact, you can argue that a single knife can be passed around the US population, each person kills someone and hands the knife to another person, costing a total of $1.)
