Well, speaking of TV and movies - The Wizard of oz was edited from the book to the movie to lose quite a lot of its meaning (if to believe The Secret of OZ)
Changes from the book to the movie. This is one thing and Amazon took The Secret of OZ off their sales lists too.
No shit that the "Like" button tracks you... everything on facebook is marked, tracked and cataloged... it'd be crazy to do otherwise. This is the reason though why i don't press the "Like" button on commercial stuff.
They call you and apologise if your package happens to be as much as an hour late. That's kind of sweet of them since I live on an island in the middle of the baltic sea:) But if we pay for 24 hour delivery, that's what we are supposed to get.
I agree with Brett... young kids should run around hurting themselves so that they learn not to do certain things later in life when they don't heal as easily.
Climbing trees, biking, playing soccer, building stuff with hammer and nail... in general stuff where you can hurt yourself or even better... encourage him somehow to just use his imagination...
Personally i would give a 4-year-old DUPLO - the young kids version of LEGO
They've said that they are unable to wage cyber war;-) but they like paying others for doing their dirty work for them. So i'm guessing they've rented a botnet.

Well as a matter of fact, 51.7% source of the computers are still using windows Xp so it, in my oppinion, isn't that strange that this problem has appeared. I myself would be one such example of potential victim since my laptop is incompatible with W7 due to compatibility issues with the gfx drivers. I can imagine that there are many out there who are in the same situation.
Not only this but during the time Vista was distributed there were also a lot of computers who were sold with Windows Xp because people didn't want the flawed Vista system.
as a matter of fact, on modern cars you can barely change the oil without bringing your car to a licensed service station... so there is a difference from the car exemple...
At the company i currently work as a summer extra, the IT deparment is a part of the finance department.
I don't know why but I guess that's the closest to any department connected to IT we can come in the company (a in US terms small company of 3-400 ppl). Worth mentioning is that it's an Internal IT department (worth mentioning because it's a betting company) and we have a lot of different department when it comes to different parts of the IT stuff.
DICE have done a realy good job in getting this game to both PC and Consoles. However, since it's still in BETA / Demo there are still some things that need to be fixed on the PC version. For example "aim-lock" when using the aim button, that's a very irritating "feature" that i haven't been able to turn off yet. Except from that it's a great game adapted for both PC and Console with some adaptions to both of them for better user experience:)

When do you think we'll see one of those at iwantoneofthose.com ?
now we'll have to read text spelled even worse than at the moment when people don't have spell check available :/
Apple comes and pisses on the little people, yet again !
are still probably cheaper per kB than sending an SMS ...
go and just grab all the GPS transmitters and put them on city busses or something and then watch the church ppl looking stupid.
You don't need to help them out, they look stupid on their own just fine!
good point ... but it can't hurt to make it worse :)

must work quite well if you want to use it for something "else" while beeing with a prostitute :)
Talk about bad cover blaming the Wanted Notice on the alleged sex crimes. If he wasn't running Wikileaks this wouldn't have happend.

Wikileaks DDoS the USofA
technically i don't think that counts ... urine is clean... it doesn't contain any bacteria or viruses (except possible STDs)

In Soviet Russia packages mark you !
Yeah, I've found medical stuff on the side of the road, like being in an FPS.
If i would have had a mod point i would have given one for funny.

he's got the whole world in his hand ...
I would say - 3,5" if it's a desktop or 2,5" if it's a notebook
