    Wouldn't this be some sort of breach of contract or communication? ...and if there's any justice, the respondents should all take him to court to and the judge should force him to honour the contracts - simultaneously! ;-)

    forget the seat warmer - how about building medical diagnostics into the toilet? Maybe a smaller, water free area you can pee into and then it can tell you if your pee is within an acceptable colour range (too dark - drink more water?) or perhaps even perform a simple urine sugar level test or proteins test. When you flush, this "cup" would then get washed out. You could even build in a pregnancy testing unit- save trying to pee on a stick :-)

    Prhaps do the saem with fecal matter? Old european toilets had a inspection shelf for checking for worms or other probelms. We could do this with image recognition instead - and fecal colour can tell a lot about a person's health too...

    why would you measure fruit in gallons

    Leave those fruit out to ripen long enough and you'll get something you can easily measure in gallons... and WTFITS units...

    (WTFITS = What the F. Is That Stink? basd on a scale from 1 = cheap knock-off perfumes to 100 = skunk dead from terminal halitosislying in the hot sun for three days and sprayed with cheap knock-off perfume by a passing motorist ).

    It all depends on your assumptions. Look at Venus. The weather there is dead simple to predict. Heavily overcast, highs in the mid 900's, with poisonous smog in low lying areas through the weekend.

    Don't buy it. I fail to see where this gets complicated. Apple shouldn't be forced to make iTunes file format work on other players, no one forces GM's Corvette engine to work in a Civic.

    But GM don't actively try to prevent you from putting it into a Civic if you want to.

    I would thinkA pple need to be a bit careful thoyugh because with the possible imminent demine of their nearets competitor (allofmp3) how far are they from being a monopoly on the sales of online music? And if they do get decalred a monopoly, would they then be forced to open up their format?

    Hey, let's continue that way. How about we don't prevent companies from dumping tocis by produicts in the drinking water- but we make them pay depending how much they dump. Surely you'd have no complaint if your drinkingw ater was toxic as long as they're paying more to the government?


    Why should you be able to pump more posions into the air that we all breathe just because you pay a few extra dollars a year? It's not about having the choice to drive a big car just because you eanr more, it's about preventing oru whole damn planet from becoming a shitty place to live. You don't get "an out" just because you earn more....

    Answer: Not a lot! At least, nowehere near as much as with Google - and I donm't have that stupid interface to deal with... and I can use the Back button still. C'mon guys, just write the whole thing in Flash 'cause I'm sure you cna make ti more damned annoying if you really put your midns to it..

    But for those who don't like all the ads, click on the "Search" magnifying glass icon without entering any text - and voila! -all the ads are gone (at least on Firefox)
