  1. NEUTRALITY on Aussies Hit the Streets Over Gov't Internet Filters · · Score: 2, Interesting

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Q25-S7jzgs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mYbYG-nXVA Lawrence Lessig is the man! Internet users should be in control of what software they use and what content they transmit over the internet. The internet has operated openly since its start. Nobody should be able to use their market power, or government power to silence people's voices on such a powerful network as the internet.

  10. Economy BOOO on IT Job Without a Degree? · · Score: 1

It is hard to get any job right now without a degree. There have been so many layoffs that many people with degrees and experience are willing to take pay cuts. So people with degrees and experience to the front of the line, then people with experience, then people with degrees, then people with no degrees and no experience. If you can't afford to go to school try doing some certification programs, they are better then nothing.

  14. Good on Street Fighter HD Remix Launches With Fan-Made Soundtrack · · Score: 1

I like all of these old 2D fighter ramkes. If they came out with a Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 I think everyone would want it. The new graphics are way better, most people probably havent played the SNES version in quite sometime so they dont remember how bad they can be. The game speed is increased but if it wasnt it wouldnt feel smooth. Grab this game, its cheap, and better then ever.

I think this is a great idea for EMS, Fire Fighters, and any other emergency dispatch. Following routines over and over in realistic scenarios that have low marginal cost sounds like a great way to improve the efficiency of all branches nationwide. Using technologies like voice recognition and RF pointers could make these actually fun in a retail market too.

  18. Get the message? on Teacher Sells Ads On Tests · · Score: 2, Interesting

I don't see how the school board or the PTA could let it come to this level. There are many other ways to raise money for schools, our teacher in 6th grade would sell bagels for .50 during break using profits to cover shortfalls in class expenses. That was back in 1993 so these problems are only getting worse. I think that his method got the point accross, but he must have exhausted any other way of getting the money. If anyone has a serious problem with his solution they should step up and help this school raise the funds in a better way.

Microsoft had Vista Capable and Premium Ready as their two qualifiers for Vista. Boxes read "'Vista Capable' when in fact they could only run a basic version of Vista"... oh so if you wanted to run premium you needed the Premium Ready tag? That seems to make sense to me. I dont think microsoft is wrong this time.
