    Having a condition that would be fatal without expensive surgery - and having the govt pick up the bill - is one of those things that makes one really, really glad about living in a socialist (mixed-economy) country.

    And really makes the situation in the US look utterly, thoroughly disgusting.

    It isn't ethanol - it's the ways it's used (It will suck in water, and it will wreck some motors - these factors need to be counted in) - and it's what you make ethanol from.

    Corn ethanol is just dumb. Sugar cane ethanol is better, best option is weeds genetically engineered for production of ethanol.

    If Best Buy screws up updating firmware, they'll send it to Sony, and if it's covered by warranty, Sony will fix it for free.

    If you screw up updating your firmware, Sony will also fix it for free, assuming you were doing everything as instructed and the console's still covered by warranty.

    Manufacturing evidence against a fully anonymous non-group... isn't exactly hard. Do a thing, then pin it on said group. The group doesn't have a central authority or even knowledge of it's members - there isn't any way to say they didn't.

    Problem is, calling "anonymous" an organization is... very much wrong.

    Organizations have some organization at the very least; all anonymous "operations" are just someone posting a website link on 4chan, and people participating about as much as they want. And doing pretty much whatever they want, with absolutely no control - or even a way to control 'em.

    Organizations have some kind of hierarchy or membership criteria - "anonymous" lacks both.

    Have an username and password, and give the user the option to "automatically log in when connecting from this device".

    That way you get the good sides of both implementations.

    Logic never defeats denial, I'm afraid.

    You can make logical arguments all day, and if the opponent just plugs his ears and keeps shouting "lalalala I CAN'T HEAR YOU", logic, indeed, is a weapon of no use. I'd suggest a mallet.

    I was programming at 10 years of age. Admittedly, just BASIC.

    I also read a wide variety of literature by frequenting the local library. ... I also didn't exactly have too many friends. Hm.

    So yeah, a lot of 10 year olds have a wide variety of interests. Somehow, this seems to correlate with them being nerds.
