There's more than one person amongst the geek community. People can have differing opinions even when identifying under a common label. Shocking, I know.
So, what? It's okay to twist terminology to make it look like Windows is full of holes and Macs are vulnerability-free?
The same types of vulnerabilities and same types of malware exist on both; less of either have been found on Macs, but that's explained by the lower market share. The architecture of Mac OS X may make cleanup easier, but viruses stuck in user space aren't harmless.
Thing is, "moral responsibility" or not, most people still won't help the helpless.
I'm badly disabled and damn glad I live somewhere more civilized than the US - the chances I'd get the very expensive medical care I need in the US are... kinda low. Made worse by the fact I can't work.
A lot of StarForce games have been cracked. The issue here is that pirates know to avoid those games far and wide; cracked or not cracked. If they had the money to throw away they'd pay for new hardware, they'd have enough money to buy all the games they wanted without a moment of thought.
Thanks for debunking this usual bullshit.
Not that I care that much, living in one of those countries with actually decent infrastructure... that's begun to show it's age, unfortunately.
As someone from elsewhere in Europe... this is not the case everywhere in Europe.
His name is "Kopimi" and they didn't keep a seeded copy handy? THOSE FOOLS!
But you could upgrade to the unlimited Goatse plan for only $39.99 a month. Are you sure you don't want the option to be open to you?
So what happened to... not infringing on God's right to judge who goes to hell and who doesn't... or for that matter, "thou shalt not kill"?
I'd take sunscreen to the grave, just to be on the safe side.

Only, TFA is about Finland.
Where "life in jail" means 12 years. We're not USA, and we're happy to not be as strict on crime.
Waitwhat? "I find cursing unacceptable so I'll use physical violence to counter it"?
You need a reality check.
Seriously, Slashdot, what is up with these horrible titles?
Also the hitboxes are pretty badly wrong. Including getting hit by the top few pixels of a piranha plant.
I DEMAND PIXEL-PERFECT ACCURACY FROM FLASH GAMES IMITATING OLD GAMES.

And that is not the blindingly obvious how?
Except you use far more land growing the feed for the animals than growing the vegetables to replace the meat in a human diet.
Vegetarian diet requires a lot of knowledge of nutrition to make work, but it is far more energy-efficient. Those animals don't subsist on air.
Meat, however, tastes good.
Enjoyment and addiction have little to nothing to do with each other.
You can enjoy something and not be addicted; conversely you can be addicted to something and not enjoy it.
Actually, most of the enjoyment from smoking is gone by the time the addiction sets in. By that time you need a smoke just to feel normal.
I have seen several people ask their partners to get a STD check together pre-sex. I live in northern Europe though.
Not such a big deal here.
What are you talking about? For example, Funcom, Blizzard, CCP won't do such a thing.
So what MMORPGs are you talking about, exactly?
Steam is not a successful DRM scheme - Steam DRM is frequently cracked. Steam is a successful distribution service.
It's impossible to smoke marijuana in a dosage to kill you... this does not make it harmless.
Plus, the effective ingredient, THC? It's entirely possible to take enough THC to kill yourself.
We have far too little research to know if marijuana is harmless or not - the associated mental problems might be very dangerous.
And taking a joke too far will carry the death penalty!
There's NO piracy for the PlayStation 3, actually - not yet, anyway.
Go without reviving long enough and you'll be dead for good, even with this stuff.
And a single bullet in the right spot will convert "low metabolic function" into "fully dead", 100%, guaranteed.

More often than not neither; I usually use wmii, fluxbox or Xfce4.
I got my first cell five years before you got yours - and it was my own cell, I had a shared phone with my siblings way before.
And I'm your age.
You really lived in the sticks didn't you?
