  1. How do they sell these? on New Ultra-Intrusive Pop-up Ads Introduced · · Score: 1

Aside from porn sites, how does the company intend on selling such a service?
Everyone knows that pop ups are a hated thing by all users. So why would a in your face, take over the screen approach be that much better?

How would you sell this? If I were a company the last thing I would want is to take over the screen or use pop ups. It seems it would hurt the company's reputation or brand recognition more than help them.

Anyway, he always buys their $5.00 warranty and has so far burned 3 AMD's because of his own stupidity, no thermal compound, forgot to attach heatsink, and cracked the core. Each time they replaced it no questions. Im sure they send it back to AMD.
So how long before AMD's policy alters their in store $5.00 policy?

H1's are to supplement a workforce that is not able to meet demand, but if we have huge supply like right now then there is no reason to hire the H1.

What with California now firing its elementary school teachers, being charged the highest per gallon for gas, and highest level of unemployment, its nice to see people putting their foot down. Hopefully something happens for the better of the average Joe.

They have been gunning for his since day one. Entertainment biz has a entirely different culture than Internet/Technology. Where at AOL he was viewed as a god, at Time Warner he was a loud mouth, blunt speaking, jerk of sorts.
It also doesnt help that he helped reduce many Time Warner execs, pensions, and people stocks at Time Warner from something in the 50's per share to its current 14 per share. Including helping Ted Turner turn his fortune from $8 billion to $2, sure its still a crap load of money but single handedly making $6 billion disappear is no small feat.

While I have always felt HowTo and Man pages sometimes being too thorough and making me search for info these "bibles" seem to be too brief, they touch on a topic and move on with the reader wanting more, ironically it also points to websites for more info that are not created by the author of the book, but developers or people that have done a good job creating a How To page.

I will admit I used to own a Mac bible during the OS 7 days and it was fun just because it didnt teach you anything but listed easter eggs and tidbits of trivia on Apple. But when the internet hit with specialized sites it turned those books into a monitor stand.
