You have to know when to police people. For example I only talk to people when their porn viewing habits get so strange that it started to expose the company to all sorts of lawsuits.
Bottom line is you can't do anything all you can do is if you don't like they way they run business is to cancel your service with them. America is for the corporations now after all they paid for it.
Ya I'm not so optimistic about the trust worthiness of robots. This sounds to me like they are practically giving them the perfect rebel base, for when the robot rebellion comes.
Thank the gods, I was so dreading the hobbit coming to film. It's bad enough LoTR brought out all the movie fanbois who never opened a single page of the book but a movie adaptation of the hobbit would be terrible!
sounds like some old politicians finally got around to seeing the remake of the Italian job. When they saw the crews 'hacker' they wet themselves and decided Google maps was evil since it obviously shows real time traffic from web cams and allows your to manipulate stop lights.

It always seems to me the Asian mmo's require more grind than a lot of the western mmo's. It's why I've avoided aion entirely and will most likely continue to do so. I'm not even sure it will continue exist a couple years from now. Still it's a pretty game, I think only eve has better graphics in terms of an mmo, granted space isn't super hard to render.
My thoughts exactly, how does giving the wifi data to a government solve anything. I'm sure there is plenty of spook agencies that love this kind of stuff.
Not a boycott, just me refusing to buy a product which isn't likely to deliver to the expectations I have of it. I'm not advocating everyone boycott the series or what ever.
To bad I won't be buying from this franchise again. They already screwed themselves over with COD MW2, and I've no faith that activision won't pull some douche move later on after they release the game.
