    from my mother. She was pissed at man (prolly my father did something stupid) and said... just wait until we dont need man anymore! Then we can get rid of all. I stuck in my brain like only few very early memorys do. gotta ask her if she remembered saying that? Good thing scientist are still mainly male :)
    Then again it's much harder to create life (sperm) then to extend existing life (womb)

    no I am not...

    DivX ;-) on the other hand is merely an encoding scheme for movies that is used frequently by folks with DVDs to save them to secondary storage at around 500MB - 1GB per movie while retaining much of the original video and sound quality.

    Thats what I do. not OpenDivX tho (divx3)...
    I did rip a few movies I rented out tho, temptation was too big

    I have all my movies in DivX format on my harddisk (easier to browse anyway)

    Personally I still want a uniform data center (aka my PC) I can see a shift of data to Servers on the Internet like with Hotmail and .NET

    But as soon as people start to have to pay for those services... I'll be happy to have all my data secured and backuped localy

    I love my newsserver.
    Newsserver are also good for ISP's - they safe bandwith.

    I must have downloaded like 100Gigs of data off it that would otherwise have gone over a P2P network or FTP
