    Actually, it will show which distribution will run best on your specific hardware. I agree that it's not meaningful to most. However, most is not all.

    Linux is an operating system. Chrome is a customized linux distrbution and therefore an operating system. Even if you don't like it.

    Just because we're in the middle of the pack in broadband service doesn't mean that we didn't develop (i.e. innovate) most of the technologies used in implementing broadband in the rest of the world.

    It's actually rather simple. Oil is priced in US $. US $ are losing value. As the dollar loses value, a $50 barrel of oil yesterday could be worth $70 today.

    You can't read a netbook easily in daylight. A kindle is also much smaller and lighter than even a netbook. However, I pretty much agree with you that there is not much point in doing this.

    There are already cross platform MMORPGS. FFXI is playable on the PS2 and the PC. It is/was also a pretty popular game.

    If they're using a botnet to carry out the attack there is no guarantee that any of the computers are even in NK. Cutting off NK's connectivity would likely have little to no impact.

    Actually, The OP noted that he would like to run Android on his x86 netbook. So I think you missed the point.

    Sorry for the confusion, I was referring more to this.

    Rather than running the Android SDK emulator.

    It looks to be a much more promising alternative to emulating the entire android OS.
