    After they end-of-life'd the lifedrive, I was hoping for a linux based pda that isn't a phone. Not some sort of sub-notebook.

    In my game, I invested quite a bit into Aeris. As in time, fights, xp, gem sockets, development. She was my Cloud's girlfriend. It was a big loss when she died. I was shocked. SHOCKED!

    Presumably, the tivo records when you play things. when you pause. when you slomo or rewind or skip ahead.

    I recorded "Swimming Pool" last week and I guess Tivo now knows that I only recorded it just to look at Ludivine Sagnier a lot. Many times.

    all you need to do is set up the initial conflict. how the player or players seek to resolve that conflict contains all the drama, action, and story that anyone needs.

    if the conflict is as simple as "I'm trying to kill you and you're trying to kill me" that life-or-death struggle contains as much drama as anything you could try to manufacture.

    This is because we've gotten used to things getting done faster. We're pressured to accomplish more in less time.

    Just stupid. I've got several sites registered on register.com. I don't see what is so offensive about having a Coming Soon page until it switches to your DNS. That's like 2 days?

    Now, he's costing them $600,000. Which ain't pocket change. I hope they can handle it. They've done pretty good. Customer service is okay. A little slow, but they answer their phones.

    I would think that like Sony, Apple would have a schizophrenic attitude toward DRM. For it sometimes, and sometimes against it.

    I say no, when I buy a mac I want just the OS and nothing else on there. Let me decide to put whatever crap is on the hard drive.
