    I want to know how long the batteries last before the decrease in max charge becomes noticeable. If the car needs to be rechraged every 40km after a few years, I think I'll stick with/change to Hydrogen

    Who is Associated Press' tech consultant, they either need to listen to them, or actually hire one. They also need a lawyer who knows what that new fangled invention 'the Internet' is and also how people relate to it.

    SO that is why communism is so "sucessful", the sheer inertia. If enough people aren't happy then someone of something is going to pay. Microsoft is sucessful because it is the most pratical o.s for most people. Slashdot users who actually want to use thier computers to their full extent can use other os and stop whinging that the world doesn;t conform to their views. That's life guys, sometimes the world doesn't conform.

    I like the idea of moving my index finger and cameras/sensors in screen detecting that movement and treat it as a mouse movement/click, and with Microsoft's table that doesn't seem too far away.

    Good point, but I am sure that they can shrink those energy requirements... Didn't computers use to be the size of a room and take up a hell of a lot of energy....

    Don't know where you got the 150mb limit from, Halo 3 map packs are closer to 500mb, and then there are demo trailers over 150mb

    This is incredibly unethical, but then so is paying workers not on the service the customer enjoys but in how much they make for the company. However paying sales clerks solely by the hour results in sullen, unhelpful staff. Smaller stores are more likely to get the balance between hourly pay and commission right as they cant afford to lose customer bases. Big businesses like the one mentioned aren't likely to care about a few disgruntled customers in a store. In fact they probably wont even notice the lawsuit that's coming if this is true.

    I think the theory is that either the meteorite shattered on impact,/ or broke up close to the surface due to external factors i.e entry into the Earth's atmosphere etc. Rather than multiple meteorites.
